while leaving work today, my Accord had a bunch of lights that came up on the dash when I started it. I called The service shop and told them that I was only five minutes away and that I commute more than 30 minutes and was scared to drive back to Kalamazoo without getting my car looked at. We were unsure what was wrong with my vehicle or if it was safe to drive. With only 50 minutes until closing time, one of the service guys helped me out and was able to diagnose and solve the problem. I can’t remember what the service guys name was, but he was super sweet and very helpful and made me feel safe. Thank you so much for genuinely caring and getting me in.

Everyone at Battle Creek Honda always goes above and beyond every time I’m there. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and I would recommend them to anyone!

If I could leave a zero star review I would. Called to get some key made for our Van. Was told they would call back and didn't. When we called back we're told rudely it would take 2 weeks just to get 2 keys made. Not really sure how companies stay in business with this poor of customer service. Terrible experience!

Needed a new key. Went to the service counter. Empty garage. I figured they could see me that day. The old guy with a ponytail didn't acknowledge me for a few seconds. He told me to get the key inside if they have any. I went inside to the cashier desk. The old lady seemed to be in a bad mood. She told me to go to the next desk over. A very nice happy guy told me he had keys in stock and if I needed it to be programmed I need to go back into the garage to make an appointment. I went back out and again he seemed to be annoyed by me and didn't acknowledge me. When we finally made eye contact I asked to make an appointment to program the key where he then yelled over me to get a coworkers attention to discuss something different. When his coworker walked away after they exchanged words he asked what I wanted and told him again. He then assumed I knew what information he needed from me because he went silent and looked at me until I asked him if he needed anything from me. He asked for my name and told me to come back Monday at 10. Not sure why since it was empty but Before me made it official I asked if I could do it and he said no. I looked into this and it seems like I could have. I left thinking they have three people doing something that the guy with the ponytail could have done everything rather than literally given me the runaround.
Monday came and I came in at 10. I was greeted by a nice man who gathered my information at the service desk and told me to pull in. I went back inside the garage to check what was taking so long and I had a doc appointment. The guy with the ponytail was there and he didn't check and just told me he will be done in a few more minutes. Then I waited until noon to get my key programmed that should have taken 15 min. I'm guessing they over booked. What terrible customer service. And the key and reprogram cost almost $200. I can get a laptop cheaper. ???

Left this place in absolute tears just now. Very upset with them.
Unfortunately they are the closest Honda dealership to me, and I already have some extra appointments scheduled with them. I just hope that everything ends up working out.
I would advice the staff to word what they are saying better and to clarify that if they want any work done to 1000000% tell the customers flat out they’d need to make another appointment. Once I picked my car up the first time I only paid for diagnostics after they said my car was “all set up”. It’s not set up if no work was done. I picked it up almost 5 hours after I initially dropped it off, didn’t seem like it would take that long to “run diagnostics.” No one bothered to tell me to make an appointment to ACTUALLY get what was wrong with my car fixed. When I was called to get my car picked up, the man on the phone only asked me if I wanted to order a new rim— mentioned absolutely nothing about making an appointment to service my car. I obviously would’ve made the appointment to get my car fixed — which is the ONLY reason why I am even there in the first place! Now here I am two months later wondering why I have the same issues with my car. The said issues (wheel barring) did get a lot quieter for some reason, so I assumed the work was done. I also fell in a puddle in their service station and spilled my entire drink on myself (well, I fell right on it). I’m sad, wet, with nothing done to my car.
I just want this nightmare to be over with.

Bill and Chad are great! This was my first purchase from Battle Creek Honda, and I will definitely be back in the future. Wonderful customer service, and great communication. We love our Hybrid CRV! Will recommend to friends and family!

Upon viewing this dealer's website, I drove to Battle Creek from Bronson to obtain an oil change. The website states they have "Express Service" with no appointment necessary. The tool to schedule on the website indicates the ability to schedule online wasn't working. I've used express service at other dealerships and never had a problem except perhaps needing to wait an hour.
Upon arrival, when I walked in it felt like a ghost town. This was on a Friday, early afternoon. I waited for the only service writer to finish a telephone conversation. Then he informed me I needed to schedule an appointment because they're backed up three days. He said they only have one guy that performs oil changes and he's booked up with scheduled appointments. So they don't actually have "express service". I told him I drove 45 minutes from Bronson based upon the website. He was aware of the website and shrugged his shoulders and said, "sorry". He's a nice enough guy. So my impression was that he has no control of the information on the website.
I also inquired about purchasing and having a toneau cover installed on my 2022 Ridgeline. He quoted me 1/2 hour installation for $75, which was good with me. But the deal breaker is that it couldn't be scheduled for two more weeks because the oil change guy can't perform this task and the other technicians are more backed up.
But I did request a price for the cover from the parts department. The quote was $400 higher than I could purchase it from another Honda dealer along I-69 in central Indiana.
Bottom line, I value service. My girlfriend and I both drive a Honda and we recently moved to south Michigan. When it comes time to trade, we're going to shop other Honda dealers with better service departments. Personally, I'm uncomfortable buying a new car from a dealer without concern about providing great service. I'm not upset or angry. I just have higher expectations for quality. That's why we drive Hondas in the first place.

Kevin was awesome to work with in purchasing my wife and I’s first vehicle. He was very responsive with my initial questions and helped go through all of our vehicles features with us. I would definitely work with Kevin again for future vehicle purchases!
