Todays experience: I got pissed at the greed pricing and walked out. This store used to be great :(As other reviewers said; skip this store, overall, you will absolutely find cheaper pricing for the same item; new, but on sale. This is coming from a seasoned resale and online shopper. Anything attached to a brand name..the pricing will piss you offRetail 101: you can’t sit on inventory. You need it to keep moving. This store? I’m guessing the racks are so full because they aren’t moving inventory fast enough (as a result of pricing).I’m guessing they’re pricing like this at the thought of re-sellers making money on items. However; if mgmt reads this, let me explain why it’s a bad idea1: Re- sellers are online, you’re not. Your shopper demographic is lower income Downriver, their demographic is many thousands of online shoppers…who will never, ever, enter your store….nor pay the prices you’re asking. So inventory sits because your demographic can’t afford it.2. Those resellers don’t make the amount of money you imagine. Not even close. This is coming from somebody who used to resale arbitrage, but switched businesses given the amount of work vs profit does not even equate to low paying job. It offers more flexibility, but you’re working day + night3. A day in resale arbitrage:*Gas ⛽️ driving to/ from store*Hours searching the store*Clothing: Wash , Lint removal, steam/ iron*Hardgoods: Clean, remove scratches, etcPhotography: set up area, lighting, etcPhotograph, choose best photos, edit photos, upload photosListing:Keyword researchPrice researchUpload to listingEdit listingAnswer frequent customer questionsPackage, label, shipThese people are spending HOURS on a single item, say they got lucky and profited $20…that equates to less than $7 per hour.

Nice clean second hand shop, well maintained and organized. Mostly clothing. Been there for decades.

Good selection & some great finds, awesome staffA bit overpriced, though, for the type of thrift store that they are. These are not gently used or like new items like you'd find at some higher end thrift stores, but many items are priced as such

I’m at your Southgate MI location. Your Sale email doesn’t said ANYTHING about that this 50% discount sale is ONLY on the ladies department clothing!!! And the woman (bleach blond hair) at the cashier didn’t do the discounts for me saying that it was only ladies clothing. she was beyond rude!!! I’m a regular customer and I have never been treat like this!!! Even when I mentioned the email didn’t say anything and I could show her she answered me “you don’t need to” and stared at me like a was bothering her!!!! This is unacceptable!!!

Prices too high on items. Who's in charge of pricing?? You could buy clothing brand new at a retail store for the same price you'd find here. 15$ for a used out of season dress with a snag is too high. Another item outrageously priced was faux flowers, no thanks I'll go to Michaels and get the same thing new for a cheaper price. STOP PUTTING STAPLES INTO THE FABRIC OF CLOTHES, STAPLE INTO THE TAG.

Yay ValueWorld! This place is kind of a mess lmao but in the best way. If you search there are tbh treasures just a lot of junk to sort through. But the workers are so nice. Not as inexpensive as Salvation Army but it's fun for a long day of thrifting

It looked picked through but the stuff I bought was clean and comfortable. Worth it for the price.

Ironic they have this sign posted but at 830pm they’re yelling over the mic, “we close at 9 so hustle up to the front” very rudely. Then as I’m looking at something a worker yells, “hustle to the front” at me while swearing under her breath.
