Was told to get the wrong envelope. Filled it out and was told I needed a different one. No problem I got the new envelope filled that one out and was told to remove my item from the wrong one. I asked if I could just keep it inside of the one I filled out because it had a little more protection and she said she Would have to charge me for it. My question was if I don’t use that envelope are you going to throw it away. The response was yes. So I can charge you for it or I can throw it in the garbage. Wonderful customer service. To send a small letter up north overnight $36. Welcome to America.

Nasty employees. Wouldn't tape the shipping label to the box for me. I guess I have to buy a whole roll of tape from them in order to tape the shipping label to the box I was shipping. Great customer service.

Always an issue with this office. Once again my carrier didn’t feel like delivering my package and lied about attempting delivery. I’ve complained and they do nothing. Always long lines and unprofessional staff. This is the lowest rung, bottom of the barrel, easily the worst post office I’ve ever had to deal with. I’m actually considering writing to a congressperson cause this location need not even exist in its current state.I want to update with another complaint about the staff being rude. After waiting 15 minutes for the clerk to stop talking to the customer in front of me, the rude clerk told me to go back in line to write a simple return address, which I did before she even finished the next person. So she made me wait again after giving me an attitude. Don’t come to work if you don’t plan on doing your job

If I could rate a less than 1… I would.I spoke with the manager named April over the phone due to a double charge and she asked me to come in. Upon arrival a nasty old lady with thick yellow nails immediately gave me attitude saying that she was April and she was unable to process my return. She took my receipt with the paperwork and went behind the counter. I re approached the desk and waited over 25 minutes for a COMPLETELY different woman to come up to me and say that she was in fact April, and the previous woman who claimed she was April, was actually a woman named Paula. Paula issued the refund after speaking with April and acted clueless.I cannot stress enough to anyone who reads this to go to a different post office. Make sure you keep your receipts because something shady is happening here.

This post office is horrendous. If you go to drop something off in person, you could be in a 5 - 10 person line and there will be 3 people at the front just ignoring the situation and pretending that you aren't there. Everyone there is so miserable working I don't know if it's the people working there or the environment but that place needs an overhaul.Also, for random reasons unknown, if you drop off a package at the drop box, it will be randomly full to capacity for no reason. No holiday or anything, just no one emptied it. So if you come after hours, hopefully it works out and you can drop off your package.This is the worst post office I've ever seen in my life.

Large parking lot with a pull up mail box at one end. No shortage of places to park here. The lobby is clean and they offer PO Boxes. As well as other merchandise to purchase. As well as the free boxes the PO offers. The lines can be long so be prepared to wait. The woman today was very business like in and out. She was quite fast. Employees here are hit and miss. Sometimes you get warm and friendly sometimes you don't. Have your packages prepared properly and your paperwork in order before you get in line, and it should move quickly. I would like to suggest a stamp machine in the lobby. For when you just want to buy a book or a roll and go.

Very rude and lack emotional control. Makes excuses for the carrier being lazy and not paying attention to what hes delivering. Usually hes in a call when hes at my building if I hapoen to see him that day.Her response was a 15 yr girls response to an accusation of whos more popular.

Terrible experience. Paid extra for expedited service for my passport. They lost my foreign birth certificate!! I contacted the passport agency and they said they never received it. I’m not even sure who to contact at this point

I go to this post office all the time but this morning was the worst service I had ever received. I had told the lady my packages was fragile but when she had cleared them off the counter she threw them on the floor. Why even ask if they are fragile ??? I really don't want to go to another post office because this one close to home and I don't really want to do the shipping from home cuz I feel that would take away from someone's job. I also found her to be kinda rude when the other girls are always very nice . She didn't even scan my labels so I could get tracking numbers like the other girls do. I'm very very disappointed in my visit. I can even track my package now ugh

The postal tellers at this branch used to be amazing. I've been disappointed in the quality of service that I've received in the past few months. The person that assisted me most recently was unfriendly, spoke very fast, was interruptive and was hard to understand because she slurred some of her words from talking so fast, she seemed to be in a very impatient mood and seemed to be going through the quick motions as if she hated her job. I left there feeling terrible - she made me feel like I was an annoyance and wasn't worth the time to assist. At the time I was there, it wasn't super busy (I only had to wait a minute in line), so I would have greatly appreciated it if she would have spent an extra few seconds actually LISTENING to me, not interrupting and responding to me more clearly. What was her rush? She kept talking over me, so she probably never even heard my point that I was hard of hearing. Southgate Postmaster, please take on the responsibility of ensuring everyone that assists customers has adequate training.

Extremely rude! And often receive other people’s mail & other people get my mail! Plus they rudely claim that mail carriers are allowed to constantly walk across lawns to deliver mail quicker! WELL I GUESS TO QUICKLY DELIVER IT TO WRONG HOUSES TOO IS PERMITTED!!!

Extremely patient staff. You would think patrons would have common sense as the holiday season is coming up and military families and people with families across country are sending packages plus others ordering gifts online of course their times will not be extremely fashionable especially an hour before close. I truly award this entire staff for their outstanding customer service and patience it’s honestly like adults no longer know how to act in public. And @ stamp guy you got what you deserve enjoy your meijers trip ?
