This place is THE most unorganized, miscommunicated business I have ever ever been with and with my history that's been a few. For dealing with mental health they REALLY know how to PUSH buttons on their patients. If you have a head injury forget it, they won't even try to understand you or how hard mental issues plague you 3x's harder than the average person!

Very rude and unprofessional when someone calls for help to tell them "This isn't a medicaid office" and hang up. You took a job at a place that was created to help people in need but you allow your front desk workers and intake staff to talk to people with disdain and complete lack of care.

They was very happy to make an appointment for my mental health until they found out I had meridian health that they do.accept then all the sudden I had to call several other numbers to be considered being seen

I find it funny that when I called 2 days before it told them that I had Blue Cross Blue Shield they were quick to help me but then the third day when I called back with her my child's mother's Insurance of Medicaid they really denied me real quick and wanted to refer me to someone else got to love it

I have been going here since I was 8 or 9 years old and I am now almost 21 and I have had a lot of help from the different people and I feel like I’ve been doing a little bit better than before and I am happy to say that I enjoyed my time with them.

This place was alright before the COVID-19 stuff happened and now I can't seem to get my son's counselor on the phone he has not been seen by a therapist in almost 6 months now and when his therapist went on maternity leave they had no plan in place for her Minor clients who need therapy every month and I was told basically that there's no therapist to take her patients but they can give me phone numbers to call in case we have a mental health emergency.... WOW !!!!!! I thought that was why we had a therapist to begin with so mental health emergency don't happen. This place has been so disconnected from their patients that I couldn't even get a phone call to tell me that my son's therapist was back on leave I guess that makes sense since she hasn't returned any of my calls or messages since December 10 what a great place to leave me Wondering what is going on and with no medication refills.

Let's start by saying the one star is more than what they deserve. This place is disorganized, unprofessional, and lacking in communication from day one. Not only have I requested to change case managers to no avail, due to her ineptitude at performing her basic job functions; the director has bamboozled me into thinking he would call me to correct their mistake, when really his vacation took precedence over my mental health. Many missed appointments or reschedules at no fault of my own. The Guidance Center has robbed me of my time and patience with trying to prioritize my well being. Choose somewhere else if you really want to the help you deserve.

They turned me away a while ago when i didn't have insurance. I called to talk about getting help for my depression at the time. They said if i wasn't suicidal there wasn't anything they can do for me and my depression without insurance. Good thing i wasn't suicidal at that time. I've never been suicidal but my depression could have led to that. They didn't even refer me anywhere that would help me for free or sliding scale. Nothing but a " sorry there's nothing we can do for you" comment. Luckily i found another place to help me.

My Cat Provides Better Therapy !!Therapy is Non-Existent !! My Therapist Disappears Weeks,Month 1 time.Dosen”t return Calls,Texts,Emails Very UnProfessional! No Structure/Goals we’re Not working on anything.Just Terrible Service Don’t Frustrate yourself more,I’d Suggest finding a different agency.

This place is very unprofessional. Therapist Amber released information without my consent. An authorization for release of information was never signed on my behalf. I would not recommend this place at all. They are unprofessional at all cost.

Rude appointment setter. Huge turnover tasted on therapists when two years of the waiting list had a therapist for 3 hours of paperwork they are trying to see me do again and have to get to feel out another therapist. Plus, my PCP does a large panel of blood work. The GC is still mandatory masks. I won't go cant breathe. They lock their entrance door which its behavioral health not a medical office except drug test me mail me paperwork to go to the lab that don't force masks and trigger clients my locking them in or out of the building. Guidance Center you should have always had a working portal like all of Henry Ford and Beumount to name a few use.

I'm desperate for some help with my mental health after my mom and sisters passing. I can't get in anywhere because my insurance doesn't cover untill my 3000 deductible is met so it would be about $150 a visit and I can't afford it. Everyone told me to call the Guidance center because they will work with you.. So I did and they offered me no help. Thanks alot

Took my kid to an intake, which he had to miss school for. Made two appointments for after. First one, we arrived in person like our text said. They tell me that therapist isn’t in the office on Friday, and my appointment was scheduled wrong. Waste of gas and time. My kid was then late to school for no reason. I insisted that I wanted in person stuff when I did the intake. They wanted to do it over the phone, sorry my 5 year old won’t do well with that. Next appointment for 6 days later. I get a call and it’s cancelled. Is my child ever going to get help? Or do you guys just take the money from intake and call it a day? What a joke. The next opening available is in 2 weeks. My child is going through some stuff and needs help now.

What a joke. I have been going round and round with this place for 3 weeks now trying to schedule an appointment. Always get the "someone will call you back" and they never do. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Truly sad when you are in need of help and there is no urgency on their end.
