Who is the manager of this dealership? I couldn't believe what an absolute pig pen this is for a Lincoln dealership. we had to go around back and couldn't believe the filth and garbage all over the place. Show room is nice but the rest is old and nasty. they offer no pick up or delivery. The manager of this dealership needs to get fired for the lack of customer service. hopefully Ford also sees this is a less than luxury brand dealership!

Service was quick and direct. I am mainly impressed with the initial meeting between myself and the service team. Even though I own a ford flex they were happy to help! On top of that they offered rental services, and free shuttles home. When I asked how long it may take, he said he could have it done the next day. Minor things for sure but still I was so impressed with the way I was treated! So respectful and nice! I have never been treated so well by any dealership. Regardless of the price, I will always return to Southgate Lincoln in a heartbeat for all my service needs! Now to buy a new Lincoln and we will be good to go! Thank you again!

First of all, don't lie to your customers about the car and condition it's in- including all the things you said was "fixed". Two weeks after getting my Cadillac from South Gate, it started having major problems like a gas leak, breaks squealing(sounded like worn out breaks and rotors), bearing on front left tire was loose, and they told me that the $3,000 repair warranty covered everything wrong with the car. Went back to have what needed to be fixing done. Not only did they say none of it was covered by the warranty we bought, but they said that they were charging me $175 for each thing I had a complaint about, and wouldn't give me my car back till I paid for what was supposed to be free. My fiancée and I tried for weeks to get a hold of the owner of the place, but they put some lady on the phone to pretend she was the owner. About five minutes later, their service person calls me and I asked them if the manager had spoke to him- he said no, and I asked if the owner was a man or woman- he said male. After getting the run around for weeks, we contacted the warranty company to get a refund for the $3,000 policy they suckered us into getting. They told us to call the dealership and tell them we want our money back and cancel the warranty, we did as they warranty company said, and told them we want a refund. They finally sent the money back to us but they nipped us by only giving us $2,000 something. This car has been nothing but trouble and a money pit, and the things that are wrong with it, we can't afford to fix- including a gas leak smell that comes into the passenger compartment. I have to drive with the windows down, AC going, and sunroof open so the smell subsides, but it's only working part of the way and the gas smell is still coming into the passenger compartment. There has not been a working traction control, ABS, and a few other problems so much so, we went to trade it in and no dealership will take it. And when I took it to the service shop, I told them to wait on "fixing" my car because I wanted to know what diagnostics charge was, and for a paper copy of it- they wouldn't give me a paper copy and said I'd get one after the work was done. Which was suspicious as h3ll. I left my car there overnight because they said they needed to fix what was wrong with the fuel components and they'd call me to see if I wanted them to fix it. When I got a call the next morning, they told me they ordered the stuff for the repair and were working on it, even though I told them not to touch my car till I told them to- Chuck, and Craig told me bs and we're blowing off the fact I told them NOT TO TOUCH MY CAR FOR REPAIR TILL I TOLD THEM TO. Omg I was so mad at the fact they went ahead without my permission, and I had a bad feeling they didn't even fix what they said they did. So, if you value honesty, a car that has no problems, and money, stay far away from this place. They'll lie to you like they did me, and give you the run around, won't let you talk to the owner, and don't get the warranty, it's a useless waste of money. I would rate this dealership a negative stars if I had the choice- stay away from them- nothing but con artists. And if you scroll down, you'll see I'm not the only one who had issues trying to have them fix my car, lying to me, and said it was like that because I was driving my car improperly. That really got my goad.

This place gave me a hassle about changing the tire on my. I had to get the manager of the dealership involved. Now I need to drive out to Novi or somewhere else to get my Lincoln serviced because I don't trust the service department at all.

I had a very good service experience with Southgate Lincoln. My service advisor really helped out getting my new car repaired to my satisfaction.

Going through Shannon G. to purchase a 2019 Nautilus CPO has been a great experience at Southgate Lincoln. She was both patient + prompt with me, and made me feel confident about my choice. All round, excellent experience! Notable mentions: Frank, Nicole, and Jeff.

Quite possibly the worst experience I've had servicing a vehicle. Charged twice for a repair that still isn't satisfactory. You'd think a Michigan based Ford service dept. would have a modicum of pride in their reputation and work. Everything you hear about Ford these days is true, go buy a Honda instead. Disappointed I can't give zero stars.

Lincoln vehicles are very nice. Southgate Lincoln is not. We have had numerous service failures with both the sales and service staff. We repeatedly called our sales person trying to obtain a privacy cover for the cargo area. It took a call to the sales manager to get a reply. Now, we found out the wheel lock wrench is missing from our vehicle at the first oil change. Didn't even know what that was, but now am buying a new one even though we never received one. BTW, showed up for my 2pm appointment only to find I wasn't on the list. And don't get me started on their sister store Southgate Ford. Let's just say my F150 replacement has a VW logo on it. And I have access to the Ford Employee discount! A Plan for those in the know.

Took my wife's car on Wednesday Feb 22, 2023 for air bag light and climate control low vent flow. Got a call later that day saying the car was fixed. The technician supposedly reprogramed both modules. I was happy to hear that because I thought they have to replace parts. When I picked it up I didn't see the Service Advisor Craig so I went to the Customer Service desk paid for the service, went to the service garage to pick up my car. When I drove it home I didn't think the vent flow was good but I wanted my wife to tell me because it's her car. I just knew it's nothing like my 2018 Fusion. The next day I took the car out with my wife said the flow was the same and our airbag light came on again. I was really upset that the car wasn't fixed, so I called Craig and left him a message on Friday February 24, 2023 @ 1:30PM. I said who I was, that the car was not fixed and that I needed him to call me as soon as possible to get the car back in. When I didn't hear from Craig on Friday. I went on-line and scheduled an appointment as a backup plan. As the week went by, I didn't hear from Craig, I was upset but I didn't call him again because I had an appointment and I wanted to see if he'd call. My wife and I brought the car back to the dealer Friday March 3rd at 8:00am. I mentioned to Craig that I left a message last Friday and he never returned my call. He said he was out one day and really backed up. I understand a delay but a week and still no call is totally unacceptable. I didn't say anything at the time to allow my wife to explain what her version of what the issues were. When my wife explained the low flow issue, Craig told her that Lincoln's are designed that way so it don't blow in your face. My wife responded but do they allow your windows to fog so bad that water literally drips. She then asked Craig to turn on the fan of one of the cars on the showroom floor to verify what Craig said. Craig responded those were newer vehicles and have been updated so they're not the same. That is when I was extremely upset with Craig. I told him it was ridiculous what he just said to my wife about low flow is a design by Lincoln. It was inexcusable for not calling me back. I said I had a 8:00am appointment a week and a half ago. You didn't look at it until 2:00pm, then called and told me it was fixed and I have the same issues. I had to wait 10 days to get it back into the dealer because you never called me back, so I'm not waiting all day to get our car fixed. I want the car looked at now, not this afternoon. Craig's response was the 8:00am appointment was with him not the technician. I about lost it, I said I wanted to talk to the service manager. Craig agreed to get it looked at now. As me and my wife got up to leave Craig got up as well and went toward the service garage area. We were right behind Craig and he purposely closed the door on us. I was really mad but I didn't say a word because my wife was with me.I received a call on Friday March 3rd at 4:00pm. Craig to told me the technician cleared the codes and can't recreate the issue. I told Craig did your technician physically check the flow before and after clearing the codes and does he think it is normal. Craig then tried to make the excuses and said they can investigate it further but I have to pay $175.00 an hour for the diagnosis and was if I prepared to authorize it. I told Craig you've had it two days and all you've done is clear the codes. I wouldn't pay $175.00 an hour for a fishing expedition. I then said if I go there and run the self-diagnostics on the HVAC system and there are codes someone will be held responsible. I then asked Craig to get me the service manager. I was transferred to someone named Elisabeth and she identified herself as the General Manager. I proceeded to explain the above issues to her and how Craig acted and lied to my wife. I asked her to refund the money I paid when they said the car was fixed and I'll pick up my car immediately.

Absolute nightmare from start to finish with the service dept...Car went in for warranty work was told it was a battery. When I asked the price of the battery Karen told me I said ok and when I went to pick it up it was double what she stated on top of her never returning phone calls and if she did I wasn't the person she was trying to call...Gotta be the worst service team from top to bottom in southeast Mi...

I did not lease my vehicle from this dealership, but it happens to be close to my home. When I call to set up a service appointment, usually I'm placed in someone's voicemail. This is quite frustrating because I'm trying to work around my "work" schedule. The notion that "someone will call you back within 24 hours" is irritating. When I call back and the person who initially answers the phone is "rude and curt", it makes me not want to deal with their service department, and definitely not their sales and leasing department. It's a NO for me!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have given zero stars, but it's not an option. Had my mustang towed to southgate Lincoln for body repair. Got an appraisal and when I questioned why it was so low, I was told.....oh, Tom didn't look under the hood. Really??? I rear-ended someone and you didn't look under the hood. I decided to have my car towed to another facility, because of the not looking under the hood. I had to pay for work they had done on it t. But when I got it to the new body shop, the car was totaled. Why would work have started on a car that was totaled. Very shady if you ask me. Would not recommend.

Alexis is one of the nicest most sincere people I have ever met. Southgate Lincoln is lucky along with us to have her. Amazing salesperson. Thank you again for everything you do and did for our family.

Recall, parts arrived job done ?

Took car into service for recall notice and had the oil changed and the coolant flush service. They called me and said that I needed a new glove box door to the tune of $859.00. I politely declined. Two days later it was leaking antifreeze out of the water pump. Took it back and was quoted a price of $3800 for water pump and and new timing chain. This dealership doesn't stand behind their work. I will drive 200 miles out of my way for my next Lincoln rather than give this dealership another dime.
