Called and asked for a quote to paint a fender and the guy was trying to weasel his way into installing it as well. Kept persisting on installing and then hung up on me. Place is trash

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. We had our car “fixed” here on an insurance claim, and it is now being actually repaired at Southgate Ford because they took the payment for the repairs but skipped multiple phases of the repair, including safety parts. We only used them because Progressive, also terrible experience, towed the vehicle there and didn’t bother to tell us until the repairs started. We actually only found out where the vehicle was because of our Ford Pass identifying the location of the vehicle. It was an awful claims experience punctuated with an even worse repair. The guy at the shop looked us in the eye and said, “it’s perfect!” Perfect? Perfectly terrible. No negotiating with someone that thinks awful work is “perfect.”

On one of our recent frigid Michigan mornings, I went out to start my car and found the door frozen shut. In my attempt to open it, I ripped the door handle off the car. This was unfortunate as It is difficult to locate parts for my car. eBay had the handle but it only came in white and my car is black. Mike was able to remove the black cover from the broken handle and attach it to the new one. It looks and works perfectly. The cost was reasonable compared to other shops I received quotes from.
In speaking with Mike I mentioned the headliner in the vehicle had fallen and needed to be replaced. Mike immediately reached out to one of his contacts and gave me a reasonable quote and timeframe on the spot. I accepted the offer and my car was returned in two days with a spectacular new headliner! I couldn’t be happier with the result.
Mike was friendly, helpful and expeditious in these repairs. I highly recommend Southgate Collision.

Found them on google & I'm glad I did. Took my 2015 Jeep patriot to get my drivers side actuator replaced & they did an amazing job. Great customer service & very nice gentlemen. Very good prices to. Will continue taking my car to them.

Took my nissan here for my front bumper and Mike fixed it up and looks brand new. Incredibly friendly, communicative and will always work with you. After experiencing multiple collision shops before, this was by far the best one i’ve been too. I’d recommend this shop to anyone.

My vehicle was taken in on short notice, and promptly repaired. They went above and beyond both in terms of the repair AND in customer service.Busting your car up and dealing with insurance is a stressful experience, but Mike made sure it was easy from the moment I put my car in their care.I could not recommend anywhere more highly than I recommend Southgate Collision.
