This place rocked, there wasn't any other customers there, they had 2 used tires I needed and had me out and done within 40 minutes. Very friendly and fast!

I recently had a frustrating experience with Mr Tire and Wheels in Southgate. I bought two used tires on a Friday afternoon, and by Sunday morning, my low tire pressure light came on while driving on the freeway. After work, one of the tires was completely flat with a noticeable hole, which another tire shop discovered. I had to replace both tires as the second one was not the correct size for my car. This mishap cost me $120 and led to unnecessary inconvenience. Be cautious when buying from this shop—ensure tires are shown to you and check their sizes carefully. This experience has unfortunately given Mr Tire and Wheels a bad reputation in my view.

I had a screw in my tire and needed a quick patch job. I called ahead and made sure Mr Tire had room to handle it right away, the service was very prompt and helpful, I was in and out in ten minutes. Store was clean, well lit, and orderly. Extremely satisfied, I'll be returning for any tire issues.

Had my tires swapped out that I bought and took to him . Charged me to swap, balance and mount . Took my car home and went to go pick up dinner after they closed and noticed that he didn’t balance my tires correctly I have a shake at 70 and a thumping noise around 40 .. I looked and the rims have sticky weights on them but didn’t take old weight off so it’s chasing weight making me think my wheel bearing bad but really it’s unbalanced tires . Now I have to go pay someone to balance all 4 because how can I trust that he would fix correctly.also told me a price on phone and then changed price when I got there and said he needed cash because it’s the weekend and don’t want card payments ..

I had a slow leak in a new tire that was replaced due to a previous blowout and was thinking that it could have been a possible bent rim, but wasn’t 100% sure. I had just taken my car to another tire shop to have my tire rotated and balanced and noticed a slow leak prior to bringing my car to the shop. I asked them to check all my tires for nails, and they said everything was good. I just returned from a 7-day trip up north, and my tire ended up going flat while I was up there, so I decided it was time to take my car to another shop for a second look. That’s when I decided to stop by Mr. Tire, and I’m so glad that I did! I’ve literally been looking online for a new rim, just assuming that it was bent. That wasn’t the case! I showed up to Mr. Tire on a Sunday at 10:05 am and was back on the road by 10:15. Super friendly staff and very knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back for any tire or rim repair needs. Thanks for the A1 service!
