I see why they have two stars. I use to bag groceries years ago. An never did we put raw meat in the same bag with other food an cleaning supplies. like why???? An she wasn't young looked about my age in her mid 30s unacceptable.

All front page sale items are always out of stock. Even on the first day of the sale. Produce is sometimes old. Found brown ,slimy lettuce today. Waste of time to go here. My last 3 trips, I have gone to LP after leaving here. To get what I need.

I have been a loyal Meijer shopper for about 8 years now. I've been shopping at this particular location for 5 of those years. At first, it was great. Especially once they updated it. Then covid happened. Ever since then, the lack of stock on the shelves is borderline obnoxious. 90% of the time I shop at this location, I have to go to the Woodhaven location to get the items the southgate Meijer did not have stocked.

I tried to get gas here and was the worst gas experience I've had in a while. First pump card error. Multiple tries. Second pump card error. Multiple tries. 2nd card. Error as well. Tried contactless payment and kept asking me to tap again and again. I went inside and asked for 12 gallons. The card that had all the errors at first worked fine.. I went out and pumped 2.2 gallons. The guy loaded $12 instead of 12 gallons. Another attendant happened for be outside and I asked if any pumps worked. She tried with my card and experienced the same issue. So I told her I'm going to Kroger instead. I won't be back...

If a could give ZERO stars i would. The cashier at the self check out was very hateful. She yelled at me when I asked for her assistance. Apparently, it is NOR her job to help customers checking themselves out, even though she was working at the self check out. Then, when I needed to exchange an item with my receipt, I was told by the customer service personnel at the desk they just didn't have what I was needing but took the item and refused to give my money back or the item. This meijers is staffed by very incoherent cashiers, poorly run and mostly belligerent and yelling,too. Oh, and the store is dirty most times when not busy! I could literally go the rest of my life never stepping foot in another meijers!

This evening when I showed up everything was cleaned and stocked up. The greeter was kind and greeted every person who came in. The carts were filled up so I could get a cart. I walked around and Management was nice by busy taking care of the store. I have two concerns though, one of the issues are of the Deli department. Attentive outspoken erratic rude behavior as I was unsure if it was directed at me or not while I walked away from the Deli department as it made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I also have a complaint of one of the self check out cashiers as he is a young man as being extremely loud, obnoxious, erratic and a concern that he was talking to himself, or yelling at customers. I did confront him about it as He did not apologize, instead he insisted and said "okay, would you like to make a complaint? I can call my manager over here right now! And then rushed and picked up the phone with a bit of an attitude. And then I said no I never asked that, I just wanted to see your name tag and to let you know, your behavior is not so well, and you're not acting right. I reminded him that he is serving the customers not to work their and act like a clown. Everything was up to date Everything was stocked Place was clean It would of been nice of one of my cashiers accepted my tip, but as I was told they don't accept tips!!

Please do not buy bakery items from this store. My 4 year old wanted a pack of cupcakes, and got extreme food poisoning and was hospitalized from them. Im scared to buy anything from there anymore.

Awful!!! Long lines, 2/3rds of lanes not open, manager doesn't care. Manager should be out on the floor ringing up people!!!! Poor customer service!

This location offers more inconveniences than any other Meijer store in the area. If you shop in the morning hours; be prepared to wait in a long line. As there is usually only one register with cashier open and no self check out lanes. When questioned management about situation; was simply brushed off as unfortunate inconvenience for customers. This location needs a management overhaul; this store needs management that shows concern for customers relations and convenience.

It's been a while since I have been into Meijer. They have really made the place look nice. I was happy overall with what I was able to purchase. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the store. They could use a little more help in the store though as the entire grocery staff seemed to be missing around the 9-10pm hour. Also, the multi-flavor pop machine was broken yet again.

Go here than the other meijers in Lincoln Park. This one is much bigger with friendlier people working. It is layed out a little different but easy to go through and figure things out. I would take the extra couple of miles to come here. The outside needs a little reno but if you have what I need and your recycling bottles are working then I will give you the 5 stars.

I know one of the reviewers said nice wide aisles. It used to have them, but they have filled up the aisles with over-wide displays and extra shelves, so two carts cannot travel next to each other on each side of the display. So when the stockers are stocking those aisle displays and chatting with other employees, there is no room to get by them. The beautiful remodel is now completely cluttered. Maybe put some of that clutter over by that odd pistachio section over by the organic veggies. But props to the greeter on the grocery side most days. He is very attentive and sweet. Please keep him! His attitude makes me look past the clutter behind him.

I waited 20 minutes in line tonight when the cashier closed the line because of a malfunction. Rather than open a line to accommodate those of us in line we were all forced to get into existing line. I then waited another 20 minutes. Is there no one who supervises this store? Neither the director nor his associates are ever available. Typical of this location the management is neither available nor interested. Can't they be replaced?

Oooh, super fabulous! Love the new look!!! So bright and shiny! Such nice wide aisles! Meijer, hoping to keep up with the new Kroger Marketplace across the street, has decided to clean up it's act. This store used to look haggard and worn, dark and dingy. It's remodel has made it a stunner! Why does this place get 5 stars and the Kroger 4? Because-1. Has a Huntington Bank in the lobby 2.Has a Sonic in the parking lot 3.Has better deals-got some end of season stuff at 80% off! 4.Mperks rock! P.S. Have to give a shout out to Yolanda H., my cashier! She was super smart and a pleasure to work with!
