I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Since Dr. yu left, this place has gone downhill so bad! Staff is rude, they won’t see more than 2 kids on the same day. I have 3 kids and they were always all seen the same day. Now they have a rule of no more then 2 so the drs aren’t wasting their time, so I was told today buy the front desk. They are always scheduled out months even though they advertise same day appointments. This place is going to loose all of their patients! Get it together Corewell!! As of this review, I’ve already switch my 3 children to a new pediatric office.

I have been receiving care from Corewell (Beaumont) Southgate for 2 years and am 5 star happy with this facility. It is very convenient to have everything in one place that is not a rambling facility. The fact you can either make and appt. (preferred) or just walk into the lab makes life less stressful. I love my doctor as she takes time with me, listens to my health concerns and offers options to support. I realize that people can have different experiences at the same place; however, I've never received bad service. Could some people be more personable? Sure, but I try consider the fact that just maybe they are having a bad day, or are overwhelmed. At any rate, this facility is clean, convenient, with easy parking, and good services.

I signed at desk for a physical. I talked to the girl at desk and paid my copay. I was told to have a seat. It was very busy and i waited an hour. The lines to all the desk clerk were full the majority of the time. As soon as someone was free, I went up and inquired why I was waiting so long when others who came after me were going back. It turns out clerk never sent my chart to the back!! While they were apologetic I was sort of blamed by the doctor and I was told I "that is what happens when you're too nice." So lets blame the patient for the front desk screw up.
The next visit, I came in for blood work. I also needed a mammogram so I walked down to radiology to make an appointment. The lady at the desk looked at me like I was crazy and told me "you need to call the number on your form". I said well I was here anyway so I'd like to make an appointment for next week. Her response was to refuse to make the appointment by saying "well we are sort of busy". She literally would not take the time to make an appointment for me. While the waiting room was busy, she was just sitting there on the computer.
Overall they were very rude and unprofessional.

Came here for a gyno appointment because my OTHER Corewell health PCP wouldn’t prescribe me diflucan, I was questioned by the nurse as to why I didn’t have them take care of it…idk the other dr refused to?? And then she questioned me if I was still taking an old RX for klonopin that was prescribed by my therapist and I said no and she immediately said okay because we don’t prescribe that. Like girl I never asked for it??? Why would I be at the gyno for klonopin? Made me feel weird like I was doctor shopping when I just wanted a health screening and to be safe. Luckily I feel secure in seeking out STD testing but others might feel embarrassed enough to avoid getting tested all together! She wasn’t overly rude just made assumptions that were weird as hell.

I've had to make the decision to leave this practice- after my PCP of 15 years retired 3 years ago- I've had 3 different doctors. One that I saw once for my annual physical, he left. The second I never saw ( appointments kept getting cancelled). The 3rd I never got to meet because they called me today and cancelled that appointment because the doctor isn't available. It's so sad the state of healthcare nowadays. Luckily for me I am healthy and only need my annual physical; not on any meds or anything. But this is ridiculous. I'll be going to HFHS- give them a try and see what happens.

DO NOT GO HERE! I have made already a complaint towards my pcp and now I will file a complaint towards the office. You're telling me it takes over 30 min and you have to make a 2 weeks out appointment to fill out my fmla paperwork that needs to be submitted immediately? Not to mention how disrespectful the staff is the attitudes they all have I don't understand why they work in the medical field. I had my pcp tell me why am I on short term disability that I need to contribute to paying taxes like herself and everyone else. Maam I've been working since I was 14 and I was hurt and couldn't go back to work at the moment. So do me a favor yall go get yourself another doctor.

Not sure what happened to this place but over the past 3 years I've received the worst customer service and incorrect information related to my medical coverage as a military retiree. You will be lucky to see the same Dr. on consecutive visits and gven incorrect information on your coverage. Do not recommend.

This office demands that every patient (and they are usually sick) check in online or on the app. Not acceptable treatment. Do you really think an elderly person can do this??

Getting tired of dealing with the front desk in the family medicine they tell me my lab paperwork would be in the lab computer without even checking. I go there today my only day off and it’s not even in the lab system very angered with this place more and more might be time to move on or they need to fix it and I know I’m not the only one that’s had problems with this place.

There is a reason Beaumont reviews are so low - heed the warnings!

Loved my former physician who has since left. Was placed with a brand new physician as everyone else had a waiting list. I figured maybe having someone fresh out of residency would not hurt as they would be more up to date and progressive with their practices, which I am all for. Unfortunately my visit only lasted about ten minutes and I was really just unwarrantingly told that I should probably try to lose some weight.Official decided to part ways when I contracted COVID and was still suffering from horrible long-term symptoms, including shortness of breath and a chronic reactive airway, six weeks later. Was unable to get into the PCP so I booked a next day appointment with one of his colleagues. First words out of her mouth were: "So let me get this right, you came in today for a virus you had six weeks ago?" She clearly completely ignored the complications and symptoms I had just listed off to her, and told me I would need to get a chest x-ray to confirm any complications and basically hung up the virtual video call.Thankfully I am in very good health and have never been in the hospital or ER before. I typically only go to the PCP once every 1-2 years for my physical and bloodwork. But after this experiences I do not want to return. It really just made me feel like a bother.

Very disappointed with the lack of same day appointments for people to get treated for Covid and UTIs and other important time sensitive matters.
