The store has pretty much everything you need, but I mainly went in for pharmaceutical products.

This is only applicable too the pharmacy, but like others mentioned, made an appointment for a flu shot and had to wait 10 minutes just to check in and then was told that despite my appointment I would still have to wait 45 minutes. No explanations or apologies. Totally defeats the purpose of making an appointment. Right after I was told this, a gentleman just walked in and he was given a great deal more attention and courtesy. Better off walking in and testing your luck.

If I could give zero stars I could. They don't answer the phone, they take forever to fill prescriptions, the lines are super long and the staff is just rude

I would give this store zero stars if I could. Had an appointment and waited in the drive-thru for 45 minutes for a Covid test. Got up to the window and had to wait another 10 minutes. When the tech appeared there was no apology or explanation whatsoever. Worst service ever!

I would much sooner jump into a alligator filled swimming pool than breathe the horror of this establishment again.

This past Sunday, my child's pediatrician called in a prescription for Famotidine (i.e. Pepcid) to be filled at this location. His pediatrician notified me around 10:45am that the prescription had been called in. My husband went to the drive through around 3pm to obtain our child's prescription and my husband was told by [name redacted] that the prescription was not in stock and to return to the pharmacy the next day around the same time. It wasn't until I intervened that [employee name redacted] decided to contact other local Walgreens to check their stock. My child is 8-weeks old and had been crying and screaming in pain due to stomach upset - hence why the pediatrician prescribed medication for him. My son could not wait until Monday to receive this medication, or else his physician would have waited until a week day to prescribe it. Why was my family not notified via phone that it was unavailable at this location prior to my husband's arrival? Why did I have to ASK the pharmacist to do his job (e.g. calling other Walgreens locations to check their stock and forward the prescription accordingly)? It appears as though the pharmacy attempted to make decisions for my son's healthcare that were not part of his treatment plan by deciding he could wait without discussing it with me, my husband or my son's pediatrician. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and follow-through at this Walgreens location and refuse to return. Your employees should leave these decisions (as to whether or not patients require medications when they are prescribed) to the treating physician, and in this case, the patient's parents. It is absolutely disgusting that your staff felt they knew better than my son's treatment team that HE COULD WAIT for his medication rather that doing all in their power to secure it for him. You should not have such people employed at your store as this lack of professionalism taints the Walgreens brand. As a mother to an infant (during a pandemic no less), the complete lack of compassion for families is apparent and my family will not return to this Walgreens if it was the last Walgreens in all of Michigan.

They are helpful and knowledgeable but the pharmacy department can be very busy from the hours of 4 p.m. to about 7 p.m. Mostly because they are on a busy corner of Northwestern Highway.

I just had my last worst experience at this Walgreens. I'm waiting at the drive thru. 2 drivers ahead of me. My daughter does not feel well. I'm waiting for 20 minutes. Then I pull up. The person in the pharmacy says 'ma'am I have one person in front of you' referring to the customer that was waiting at the cashier. I waited as she served her patiently then the attendant walked over to the computer for about five or six minutes. Then another person walked up to the counter, mind you I had been waiting 1/2 hour at this point. The attendant then goes up and serves the person at the counter before me. When the attendant comes to serve me I asked her why she did that because it made me wait an extra five minutes. She said that the walgreens store policy is to serve the person who is at the counter first. Really!?! Well it's my policy not to return to this walgreens.
