I came here to pay a bill. I am the only one in the store other than employees. I am instructed to wait at another counter while he wait on everyone who came into the store. He even made change for a lady while i waited. Then the language barrier thing started waisting my time and his. Finally i get a receipt. Was this to annoyed seems recently people are having big concerns as to how they are treated. Sure hope they are not prejudice. Making comments about someones appearance is also inappropriate. I came because it was convient nothing else.

I have been a long time patron of this store for years, never had a problem, May knows me well, however I went in tonight and a young man named Yusuf was working the counter, I walked up with my purchases which included 2 small bottles of lime juice, a gentleman came in right before I put my things on the counter and he was on the phone, not paying any attention to Yusuf, Yusuf deliberately ignored me trying to get the attention of the man on the phone who proceeded to the lottery counter, then Yusuf thought it was necessary to go back and double check whether I was getting the small lime juice bottles or the large ones, I explained to him that the ones on the counter for my purchase were the small ones, but he had to make me wait while he double checked. I have spent too much money in this store to be treated the way I was tonight. It was outright disrespectful. Yusuf needs to be handled accordingly. Period. Or this establishment will lose good business.

Yesterday I had a third party check didnt know where to cash it. So I called the store and I told the man on the phone what I had and he said he got me. So later on that day I went in and gave him my check he process it and of course you give your social security and your drivers license. Also he charge the fee was $12 which was fine I wanted to get this check cashed. Anyway they helped me out what a blessing. Thank You Town and Country and God Bless.December 13, 2022So like I said I was able to cash the check. Well now as I speak something was wrong with the check which I didn't know about it was the company it was on their end. So I get a call from the liquor store on my voicemail last Friday. This check is bad and I'm going to call the police and my lawyer. WTH??!?!?! ?So with the company that issued the check I ha e been getting the run around but hopefully by the end of the week they will reissue the check so it can get resolved.Then I can go to the store give to this guy. But the guy at liquor store I do not approve his business method I think that was uncalled for to leave a message like that.

I used to walk from 28434 Everett Street. With a quarter in my pocket. Just to buy penny candy. It was called something else back then in 1962. I only wish I had old pictures. I would leave the store with a small brown bag, filled with all sorts of goodies.
