When my cousin moved into her apartment, she received a brand new stove and shortly after that, she received a brand new dishwasher.Maintenance requests are addressed very quickly (one or two days after being reported).Since this is an older building, the walls are sturdy and practical soundproof.

The leasing staff is fantastic. I am a new soon to be tenant. Every time I have come the place is quiet and clean. The tenants seem to be really friendly. I am looking forward to calling this home!

I have been here 3 years and at first it was great but when the new manager took over this place has went down hill very fast. Long term residents are moving out due to the new management. Since Ive been here I have always had hot water coming out of both the hot and cold faucet. My linen closet door came off track the first day and was never repaired my ceiling leaked in the kitchen for 2.5 years due to the dishwasher in the unit above me. Security is a sometimes thing (Sometime the security patrol is there sometime theyre not). My apartment flooded 7/21/22 there has been no repair or nothing since then has of 1/20/23. The "manager" will walk right past you without so much of a hello. The property is nice and has alot of nice things but the way it is ran by the short bald guy in the office is horrible.

When I moved into The Franklin Apartments, I received a brand new stove and dishwasher. This is my second year here. I love the space and two bathrooms in this two bedroom unit.

The Franklin Apts. in Southfield, Mi. does NOT pay their contractors.If your a contractor RUN because you will not get paid. We are starting a lien on this property.

I have lived at The Franklin for 15 years. The water was free when I moved in and that changed under new owners, which was fine. What's NOT fine is paying for water and NOT having COLD RUNNING water for over 5 YEARS! I have HOT water coming from the COLD water in bathroom and kitchen!

Trash is ALWAYS overflowing. The racoons are always in it. House keeping is poor. The hallways are unkept and carpet is stained. The security gate is often broken for days at a time, most recently a whole week. You will always smell neighbors cooking or smoke due to poor structure. The only good thing is that the staff is friendly. I would not recommended to others.

I just signed on for another year primarily because of the new management. It is a night and day difference with everything from cleanliness to basic courtesy. Shout out to Kimmie who rocks! The apartments are quiet, clean, friendly and they even have a library and a vending machine that takes apple pay! I would surly recommend these apartments. They are also in a great location with easy highway access.

Great place to live. Very good location. Loved the floor plan of the apartment. The office staff is wonderful. They were very helpful when I needed anything. Generally it was easy to get repairs done but sometimes you had to remind them. The maintenance staff were always professional and friendly. You won't be disappointed.

I've lived at The Franklin for 6 years... I absolutely loved my unit, which others affectionately referred to as, "The Penthouse." Lol. Great view, excellent privacy, spacious, and very accommodating. Everything you could possibly need is right there in the same building and on the premises! I do want to acknowledge Mallory, the onsite Manager. She has always been so kind, professional and very accommodating. Although I no longer reside there, I would definitely go back if I ever decided to go back to the appartment life. Great place to live!!

These people are so rude I applied online . They called me the next day to receive to the money for the application .she said she will call me in 30-40’mins she never called me back to tell me the status of the application and I’ve called back several times and the lady keep saying that the leasing manager isn’t in .. but she sure called to get that application fee , rather I was approved or denied she should have called me back or emailed me ... smh ??♀️ It’s been over a week now i still haven’t heard a word from them ?

We moved from hell to heaven. The staff Bridgett and Dawn were so professional and respectful. They listened to what we wanted then explained what was expected from us. We moved from one of the worst apartment complex in Southfield. Not happy here go to Southfield Apts and you will be begging to come back home. Thank you Bridget and Dawn for your honesty!!!!!
