“I needed an old school bike shop and repair guy and I found it. I had a bent wheel and figured I'd see if an old school guy could fix it since nobody else in town wanted to help they all wanted to sell me a new wheel. Long story short he told 20 to fix and ended up charging me 10 so I bought the tire and tube from him also. The world needs more oldschool places like this. I'll be back. Dont let the quirkiness of the store deter you this is a "real" bicycle shop!”

“This evening, June 3, 2023, I had the delightful experience of making a purchase at Gazelle Sports In downtown Birmingham where I was assisted by the most patient, tolerant 16-year-old absolutely adorable young man who was none other than Asher. I had no idea of what I wanted other than OnCloud tennis shoes as my neighbor had a pair and I thought they were "cool." Sweet Asher patiently brought box after box of tennis shoes for me and when I asked that he choose the pair for me he did exactly that and I wore them out of the store. Fifty-three years separate Asher from me in chronological age, but he treated my indecisiveness with utmost kindness. “My Daughter, Jacey, has been taking lessons from Michelle and having Aleta mange her equipment going on 4 years now. Michelle is the best coach there is and wonderful person too! Michelle knows just what is needed to make her game better. Michelle designs the lesson personally for her, always explaining everything so she can learn for herself, and asks for her thoughts about her bowling game. Jacey's average has increased each year and she placed 11th at Junior Gold 2023! Aleta is also always there to offer advice on bowling balls, drilling, and equipment. She answers all my husbands questions and ideas. Jacey looks forward to her lessons and being at Country Lanes. To know them is to be inspired and love them! We will never go anywhere else!”

“GK calls is a great call company. From your basic calls to your high end duck and goose calls. The staff and manager at GK calls helped me and my wife out a lot. We were looking for nice acrylic calls to give to our wedding guests and the staff there helped us out with quick responses, shipping, and quality. Here is a photo in the review of what we did with them. I would suggest using GK calls with all your call needs for your event or every day hunting use!!!”

“Current beer leaguer, lifetime hockey player since I was a wee lad. Nobody sharpens skates as well and consistently as these guys. Been going here for a few years now even though it's half an hour from where I live. My skates always come out super sharp with consistent edges.My blades are about 12 years old and these guys have a set of replacements for my skates (nobody else does). Planning to have them replace and profile the blades once I have the funds. This shop is the place to go for any skate needs.”
