I purchased paint for my security gate from this store. The Associate Manager was extremely courteous, patient, and mannerable. His knowledge of paint for exemplary. I would highly recommend purchasing all your paint need from Sherwin Williams Southfield, Michigan.

Today was my first visit to the Southfield Sherwin Williams location and quite honestly it won't be my last. First, I called before going to the store. The Sherwin Williams team member Tim answered the phone in a polite professional way. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I showed up at the store not long before closing, in a crunch because my contractor who was currently working at my home wasn't able to get the paint I wanted due to logistical issues.Unfortunately, the paint color I wanted was not available in the Pro Mar 200 semi-gloss so I had some tough decisions to make. Anyone who has ever tried deciding on a paint color in a rush knows it's no easy task. Especially since it took me a few months to choose my original selection.Regardless, Tim helped me tremendously. He was patient, kind and attentive. I explained my paint color considerations such as LRV, the color scheme in my kitchen and bath and even showed him a few pictures on my phone for reference. Even though it was getting late and I probably asked him more questions than most customers, he never seemed impatient or made me feel rushed.I finally settled on Zircon as my new color selection, after Tim held up about 20 paint samples and even did so in different areas of the display area to give me an idea of how the paint samples looked in different light and against different color backgrounds.Tim was truly wonderful to deal with, so much so, that I asked how much he liked working at Sherwin Williams because he has a great disposition and my place of employment is hiring. Tim assure me that he is happy where he is and looking forward to the opportunity for promotion at Sherwin Williams.Great store overall, clean, welcoming and great staff members, like Tim.

I deal exclusively with Sherwin Williams and this store in particular and the service I have received with them has been exemplary. Josh always has time to work with me and make sure my orders were taken correctly. Whether I ordered 10 gallons or 60 gallons, he has always come through for me. In the past, while dealing with multiple stores, there seemed to always be issues. Josh has always kept my account straight with no issues.

Man, I didn't realize the price of paint was so expensive!! But the service here is great, and they really helped to put my order together with all the items I needed for painting my Mom's first floor. Sometimes they don't have exactly what you need, but they can point you to another store that has what you're looking for

Turns out don't ask Sherwin Williams. As there slogan went.. Ha ha.Went there a few years ago...not sure if things have changed. Haven't been back since... will consider if my favorite paint store can't provide what I need.I do understand that my color matching request was unique. But was advised that they couldn't match a color for me.

I was unaware that this Sherwin-Williams paint store was so close to me. There was ample parking and the store was not crowded. I was able to pick up my online order after the sales associate called me to let me know that the order was ready. The sales associates were friendly and helpful.
