I wouldn't go to this guy again if it were the last agent on earth. He's condescending, yells at his customers, talks down to his employees. Extremely difficult to deal with. And that sales guy he's got, Chris is extremely condescending as well. There are a billion state farm agents in Michigan, stay away from this guy! Looks like he moved, I was hoping he went out of business to save people from him!! The move isn't going to save him. Google is full of fake and coerced reviews. This guy shouldn't have any stars.

I was searching for new car insurance as progressive was charging me an absurd amount. Sean Shewalter reached out and was able to answer all of my questions and displayed a great deal of patience with me as I went through the process of switching over. He is extremely knowledgeable and worked very efficiently to get me the best price available without cutting corners on safety to make sure my coverage was more than adequate for both my home and my auto insurance. I received a letter in the mail from state farm regarding an address discrepancy and he had already taken care of it before I brought it up to him. I highly recommend working with Sean for your insurance needs. He is also very knowledgeable with life insurance policies and specializes in those as well. All in all a great experience. 10/10; thanks Sean!

When I decided to change insurance companies because my last one was a huge disappointment, I went through about 10 companies. Although the prices were very similar to one another, Sean was by far the most informative agent and was much more helpful than the others. I chose State Farm because of him. Fast forward two months and my daughter is involved in an accident where the car was a total loss. Sean, once again came through and walked me through all of the steps I needed to do concerning the car and my daughter. If you are looking for an agent who cares about his clients, you can't go wrong with Sean Shewalter.
