I visited Sam's club on 8 mile February 9,2024 due to a slow leak in my tire. I was treated by a young man who was more than helpful and polite. Upon sharing my issue with a senior worker in the area I was informed the tire didn't have enough skin on it to plug and it would need to be replaced. I left there came home were Ford employee used a typical plug kit to locate a piece of metal, removed it and plugged it successfully. The senior staff member didn't apply efforts to fix issue. Guesss it wasn't worth it if I wasn't buying a tire. Won't use them in future , can't trust. The Stars are for the employee who was identified to be in training by senior staff member providing good customer service.

Took advantage of their 40th anniversary sale and bought a 1 year membership for $10. As full disclosure, I am a big fan of Costco and have been using this chain ever since it came into the Metro Detroit area for my bulk/discount shopping needs. As a direct result of this, my two star rating is based on how this store stacks up to Costco and to be honest with you it really does not stack up very well, The store seemed disorganized and poorly laid out with aisles running both north to south and east to west where one orientation (pick one) its better suited for traffic flow. They have the bulk items that you expect with discount prices but do not have the specialty items and higher end items that Costco carries. Also the store lighting is a little on the dark side and seems a tad run down versus Costco. Lastly there was a huge disorganized queue to leave the store after checkout (early weekday afternoon ) to have your cart checked to ensure you paid for all your items. definately a HUGE negative! Overall, I will come here occasionally during the course of my new membership but when it runs out, I don't see myself renewing.

Sam's Club Canton MI #6666 39800. Tire and Battery Department is worst department ever. Especially the team leader/sales representative. 12/28/22 went in for replacement battery and possible flat tire or stem punctured. Gave my keys and phone number to technician. They only had 2 technicians on staff. Always understaffed. Anyway I and my car was forgotten. But I didn't know until I returned to desk for update. 3 hours then told to come back next day at 11 am. Not first thing, but 11 am. 12/29/23 at 11 am arrived waited my turn and this time Team leader Scott was there waiting on me. Advised battery and flat. Advised him of everything that happened day before. Asked if I could be a priority due to me being forgotten, waiting 3 hours for call that never came. And having to come next day. Team Leader Scott in front of his subordinates said "You and a couple hundred want priority". I asked for manager. After about 15 minutes or so I was introduced to club manager Eric Merryweather, he listed was disrespectful like Scott, he empathized with yesterday and remark of team Leader Scott. Apologized and had my battery replaced and stem in tire replaced at no charge. Kudos to Eric for being warm and compassionate to this old lady. Tire and Battery Department at Sam's Club Canton MI #6666 is no place to go for your tire needs. Thank you Mr. Merryweather. Team Leader Scott is no example for the technician or the department. He needs retraining on sensitivity, respect, compassion, empathy for other Humans. Scott Team leader of Tire and Battery needs to be retrained in customer service. Not fired but retraining. I visited sam's club's on Friday October 1st this location is nice had everything l needed clean employees nice kind in helping me find something now lve been to other Sam's club but l will continue to come back to this location it's closer only thing was a employee told me they were running out of paper towels umm not good other then that store was on point?

Sams club in Southfield is beyond chaotic, unorganized, depleted, understaffed long lines, and unprofessional. They outsource their delivery services to Walmarts and the deliveries are not making it's way to the customers nor back to the store. You can't call them, because Sams Club doesn't answer their phone so you're forced to go up there angry and to hear a Manager say, "everybody is starting to complain about their delivery" is beyond pathetic. You all don't care that the delivery drivers are canceling Customers orders at the end of the day, and reporting them as delivered??. they are literally stealing customers groceries!!!. Terrible customer service, terrible Management, Never going back to the one on 8 mile in Southfield ever never again in my life!

Kudos to the Sam's associate that works in the tire department. I asked for my tire to be inspected because I thought I had a slow leak. My tire was checked, and I was informed that my rim had a buildup on it that was causing the air to leak from my tire. The rim was cleaned absolutely free!

Now from all the check-ins I have done, Sams will continue to have the best prices for gas, in my humble and not so humble opinion. Now the gas station section will have long lines snaking out from every which direction. You may hear horns beeping and some people jumping Infront of others just to find out its only one pump working on that side. Practice patience when you come here. This location is usually busy. I try to get in and get out quickly. The pharmacy dept is quick, friendly and efficient. Like with all the Sams Stores you will have a wide variety of good and service you can purchase. You can also get hot food to take home. Keep in mind each Sams has its own vibe. I will be back.

The customer service here is bad if I didn't have a membership I would go back to meijer nobody wants to help you I lost my keys the manger wouldn't make a announcement or let other employees know hey look out for her keys one of our paying members lost their keys every time I walk back to me never service desk to ask if keys had been found the rep was very rude like I was bothering her just by asking I came into the store at 6 and had to have my car towed that night at least at Meijer they have security advance enough to trace your steps here they ask do you remember where you lost them like if I remember where I lost them would I have to talk to you ? No I wouldn't like I said if I wasn't already a member I wouldn't shop here the employees don't help or care and are very rude I had to search for hours for my keys with my two sons and not once did anybody offer help smh
