This place is trash. My sister goes here and this older lady name Roxie suppose to be my sister coordinator but she has over stepped her boundaries telling other ppl my business and my sister business to others that she don’t know outside of the work place! My sister truly believes that this woman is helping but she’s truly not because she’s mentally challenged and she doesn’t know any better. I’ve call her boss and no one is listening to me! It’s more to the story but this enough to be shared. I’m taking legal actions because who does this! It’s the hippa law especially when you’re talking outside of the work place. It supposed to be a place of business and it’s not being ran like a place of business. They just be using these mentality challenged people! I don’t recommend no one to send their love ones to work at this zoo!

Rachel G emailed my mom stating that I had my hands in my pants at big lots which was job site and in the email that Rachel wrote it stated that I was doing some odd behaviors and not listening to my job coach which I was listening to my job coach and also Rachel G stated in the email that the customers were upset and complained which never happened at all. So basically Rachel G is very rude

They used to be a good place for career advice and help, but they are now completely useless. I was told to go to Michigan unemployment for help, so what do I need them for? I was advised go into the store, to lie and pretend to have a problem as a customer in order to see the manager. This is a sure way to get yourself banned from the store. I was also told that they are not there to help get employment. Seriously?

This place is unprofessional and rude. They are only interested in donations and providing services that they can charge for. Not much of what they offer is free so ask before you waste your time. Bad business ethics!

Looking at the Fox2 piece on Gesher Human Services, I thought what a great resource. Then my takeaway is why put Phyllis Scripsick on as the spokesperson? Her right eye is completely covered by her hair. Very unprofessional in my mind. Why?

They only help you out if you are Jewish. Just stating a fact. They sent me with a college degree to a daycare center to babysit toddlers. They are not in the business of helping non-Jews. Not recommended.

Do not go here for any adult services, assistance or training. They offer no help. This is a company in transition getting ready to do a merger with another none profit. I had removed my review as a good faith gesture. Then the director calls me insults my intelligence then calls me "unprofessional". I don't work for JVS.

Great career counseling services! Helpful and friendly staff, very thankful for this organization. I cannot be thankful enough to JVS.

Gerard Baltrusaitis is a joke much like the entire JVS operation. Only go there for career help if you want to completely waste your time. They don't offer any real tangible help, only lip service. This guy and this place is a joke and I feel bad for the people underwriting this operation.

JVS is a very Professional Company. They offer a lot to people and their community, I am very happy to be a part of such an establishment. There is also room for advancement as well, especially if you have a B.A. or higher in your degree. I have a B.A. in Metaphysical Science with a focus on Metaphysical Psychology. In the future at JVS I am looking forward to working their Adult Day Care. Also might I add, I do not see any discrimination going on at this building. I have notice people have a tendency to be a bit moody sometime, but that's about it. If you carry yourself in a Respectful and Dignified way, you will receive the respect deserved. This is an establishment that is about helping people...Aisha Shabazz...

I have never worked for a company such as this before. I have worked since the age of sixteen when you needed a work permit I am now sixty three and have never been treated in such a manner as JVS has treated me a honorably discharged Veteran. I was employed by JVS for a total of three weeks and I quit. The atmosphere and work environment was unbelievable. I don't know if it was because of my age, my ethnicity, or my knowledge but I was ostracized by Jim Willis, nicole something or another this company is not Veteran ,and or Black friendly. In my opinion!!!!
