Solid place for those who have high maintenance or abused/traumatized pets. I believe my pet was being mistreated at my previous vet. At Greenfield, they have experienced staff on hand, and have been honest when they don't have staff experienced for my unique dog. They gave sound advice about medicating him prior to the visit(s). I do have multi-visit appointments, because sometimes it's just too stressful for him and/or the staff - though that's expected given my animal's unfortunate history. I'll shout out Ellen (vet tech) and Dr. Reynolds for leading the charge most recently on working so well with my dog.

I had my Morkie groomed on June 26, 2023. My dogs file indicates that he is to be groomed by Liz. I verified this after the incident When I dropped off my pet Renee came out to get him. I asked if Liz was there and Renee said yes, she was in the back area. After my dog was home I noticed that there were big bald spots on all his legs, and other signs of poor grooming. I took him back the following morning. They had Brandon, a vet tech talk to me. His explanation for the bald areas was " that's the way his fur grows". I asked why wasn't it the same on every leg - he didn't answer. He did ask if there was any sign of infection, which was a very telling response. Do not allow Renee to groom your dog as she doesn't know what she's doing.

Be careful bringing your dog for grooming. They charge me $300+ dollars for vaccinations my dog already had. Clearly should have communicated that to us before doing the service!

Believe it or not, I use to use this vet when it was on Greenfield. It was the back up vet when my great cat specialist vet was closed. Always caring and reasonable prices. My best friend has used them for over 25 years. Was able to get an appointment within a week. Very understanding about what I needed, letter for new apartment and a rabies shot for Oscar the cat. Had a blanket on a heating pad for Oscar and a very gentle staff that even gave him a treat to calm him down. Could do the exam but not the blood work. Will come back for that with calming medicine. Prices more than fair. Upfront with their pricing. May be a little drive from where I live, but worth it.

Dr Shencopp is wonderful. She is so caring and great with the animals. Unfortunately I had to put my old baby down. They make it a very touching situation. It's a special room and her great techs are also there for support. I was able to lay with her on the carpet floor and she was on soft bedding too. I was crying and holding her when it happened. She went So peacefully mLater they gave me a cast of her Pawprint which was so sweet. I will always treasure that. They get how close we are to our pets Deb

Very dissatisfied with how they treated us as concerned pet parents of a pitbull who's scared to go to the vet. Every visit this year wound up being a multi trip event. This recent encounter was for a nail trim. We went into it knowing we needed to medicate him before hand to try and ease his nerves. He in the past has needed to be put under anesthesia in order to accomplish things like his annual shots. (Which mind you, was NOT needed prior to Covid when pet parents were not allowed to go in for their appointments). When there was zero success of trimming his nails the first time, I brought up sedation since this vet HAS used this method in the past in order to accommodate our big baby. We were told they didn't have the time and we'd need to come back next week. We were given an oral gel to try on top of the medication for the next visit, after asking again about sedation, the question was brushed off and we proceeded to reschedule. So today, we fully medicated our 83 lb pitbull and a half hour before his appointment called to verify that we were not going to have to subject him to a third visit and that if the nail trim wasn't successful, that they would put him under anesthesia to do so. This experience is already traumatizing, I don't want to continue to make things worse for him. While on hold TWICE to be passed up the chain, the hold music specifically states, "we handle dogs that need sedation for grooming." The last person I spoke to claimed to be the owner. Who asked if I had scheduled it as a nail appointment with sedation, which funny enough, not a single person told us we had to specify considering the fact of the past sedations, I didn't know we needed to hand hold to remind them of that anyways. I did hang up on her and told her we would cancel which was followed up with an email from them with copies of our dogs records releasing services. I never once stated we were going to another vet, I stated we would find someone more comfortable with handling this task since every single time we go someone makes a comment about his breed. For a vet to get upset that we don't want to traumatize him anymore by doing repeat visits is astonishing to me and completely unprofessional. No efforts to correct or curve our concerns and make our dog comfortable. If you don't want to service the big scary pit bulls, then maybe mention that in intake. I'd also like to point out the fact that the owner stated nail trims aren't apart of grooming. Which is ironic considering ALL groomers do nail trims. Will absolutely never return or recommend this unprofessional establishment.

I don't think I could recommend Greenfield Animal Hospital enough! From the front desk to the doctors, everyone is kind and informative. They recognize every pet that walks through the door and their quirks! We have an anxious 6.5 year old cat and a 1 year old dog; both have had wonderful experiences and my cat has never been more calm at the vet! Truly worth every penny and will continue to take any and all future pets to Greenfield!

Our vet visit last week was so smooth and fast! Brought a book expecting to be patient for that visit but was super impressed how quickly and smoothly the visit went. Dr Hood took time to call us in the car and explain everything also. Everyone is so nice and helpful.

My dogs love the wonderful and caring staff. They drag me in the door whenever we visit. During covid, they have never stopped being truely professional, kind, and patient and polite. Thank you all for being there.

We have taken our dog Jasmine here since she was born. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. They also have very reasonable pricing. Recently Jasmine had an emergency when they were closed so we had to take her to an urgent care. The other place did surgery to remove an intestinal blockage on her. After surgery they left the warming blanket on her so long it gave her extensive burns down both sides of her body. We took her to Greenfield and Dr Hood did surgery to repair what the other place did. He removed the dead tissue and burnt skin and put over 100 sutures in her. It was a long and difficult surgery but he did a phenomenal job and she healed perfectly. They are AMAZING there and i will never again trust anywhere else with my Jasmine. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!
