I went in to get information transferred from one iPhone to the other this particular staff member seemed to be very irritated and short and condescending I don’t know his name, young Caucasian man with the headband on I don’t know if it was time for him to get off work or not but when I come into a business, I’m a customer and you do move fast through the customers, but not for the sake of being rude and should be professional

Geek Squad manager Shareece has very poor customer service skills. I took my computer in because it was dusty and it also needed a new AIO cooler install that I purchased. Best Buy had my computer for three or four days and I got a phone call explaining that they will not be able to install my AIO cooler because the computer was “ too dusty”. She told me that she felt it was unsafe for her technicians to work on the computer and she mentioned that geek squad is not a cleaning service. She was very rude and condescending to me as a consumer and that is something no one should have to deal with if you’re spending your hard earned money with a company. Mind you, I spent 179.99 for service and she also did not want to refund my money, even though they were unable to fix my issue.
Also, Right on Best Buy’s website it does mention that geek squad does clean physically the inside components of the computer! So she clearly was misinformed. I had to drive completely out of my way to go to the Best Buy in Dearborn to get the service that should’ve been completed at the Southfield location completely unacceptable she should be fired immediately! Or denied at minimum

I purchased a Vanko projector and was told that I would have to pay a 15 percent if I returned it. We told the salesperson that we wanted to use it for a slideshow and he said that the projector should do well with showing clear pictures. I took it home to look at the slide show and the pictures were very blurry. I returned it because the projector did a poor job of showing clear pictures. If Best Buy is going to charge a 15 percent fee for returning certain items, then they need to have a few projectors on display so that you know what you are getting. When you purchase a television, you know what you are getting because the TV's are on display. Do your research first before purchasing a projector from Best Buy because you will be stuck with paying a 15 percent return fee if it doesn't do the job. Don't rely on the salesperson.

I placed a pick up order and when I got there had to wait 30 mins in my car while I watched people come and go. So I go in to get my item and stand in the ordered online line only to be ignored while they checkout out all the people in the regular line. The Best Buy customer service is trash.

Best Buy used to be a decent store with knowledgeable helpful employees many years ago.Nowadays it's run by people who have no clue how to manage a retail operation. They don't train the employees and the store is total chaos even during normal days when it's not very busy.When I worked retail we would triage customers to clear the line. Here, a customer that just needs to pay for something and get out is made to wait for an hour or more while two family members argue about what phone to buy and the customer service rep can't figure out what's in stock and then disappears randomly for twenty or thirty minutes and the family members still can't make up their minds.Do not shop here or support any location of this store. They don't deserve your money and you can't get pretty much anything here somewhere else and probably for less money.This is why brick and mortar chain stores are going out of business. The customer service and efficiency suck and are stuck in the stone age. Best Buy deserves to tank and go out of business. Management of this company from top to bottom is a complete joke.

Employee by the name Cherise was rude and disgusting. The worst customer service I ever endured. She should be fired but I continued on with my day. Raggedy person wait time long for pick up orders around noon but the store was empty.

This location has had very little inventory for all of 2023. It looks as if they are going out of business except for TVs. Today I purchased something in the store for the first time in over a year and the checkout process was very poor. I bought a cheap flat antenna for my kids room. I had to got through a number of screens before I could pay, including a legal paragraph which made no sense to me. I asked the employee what it was trying to say and she wasn't sure. It was a screen about a $7 feet for the cheap antenna, but I was not looking for an extended warranty. After we finally got past that screen, next came ads - all of this BEFORE I could pay. After some "declines" and not signing up for a Best Buy credit card I was able to pay. I can't imagine ever purchasing from Best Buy again! They need to focus on not trying to scam shoppers into signing up for one thing after another when trying to make a simple purchase. I asked the employee if someone bought a soda, would they have to go through all these ads and she confirmed everyone if bombarded by them when trying to pay. Sad to say, unacceptable.

Horrible service! Got a washer from them. Price same as home Depot and Lowes. No bargain. They said delivery was five days.They have cancelled the delivery THREE times! Now saying five more days! You can't reach store. Go through the same customer service crap! No help!

I was able to snag my google nest cameras here for a great deal. The young lady that helped me was very friendly and informative. However when I needed help finding something else I had to deal with another employee and he was absolutely rude and was no help what so ever. Unfortunately my experience could have been a 5 star.

We purchased equipment and needed home installation. While the initial experience buying the equipment was fine, we had nothing but disappointment since then. I have spent nearly an hour per time calling to arrange installation -always being told that the appointment was being scheduled. On two occassions, the appointment was no-showed, no called. On one occassion, I called to confirm their arrival...confirmed with Geek Squad and then there was still a no show. I have called three subsequent times, scheduled an appointment and then the appointment has been changed to dates that we're not available on three separate occassions. Every time, the Geek Squad members assure me that the issue would be escalated and I would receive a call. And that they would call me if there were any changes. All I receive is a randomly scheduled appointments with NO call. We paid the money to have the TotalTech Geek Squad service, but at this point it seems to be a gimmick to cover for an apparently underserviced 3rd party supplier. What a waste of money and disappointment!
