December 27, 2023. If your review is bad, go to the corporate site to file a complaint. If no change, report to the BBB.Until today, I was a customer since they closed another local store. This pharmacy is the worst. They are overloaded with prescriptions due to other store closures and they are understaffed. Their phone system doesn't tell you when your prescription will be ready and/or if they had an issue with the number of day supply. The pharmacists are rude, and the staff is slow. I switched from this store to the one on Southfield Rd. They were bad also, so I switched back to this location. Now, I am leaving Southfield all together and driving to Berkely just for the prescriptions. I'm tired of this service and we deserve better. My doctor placed my order November 30. I called Sunday, the system said my refill required doctor approval. I called Tuesday, order was in process per the system. Called this morning, same msg. I called my doctor, they called, spoke to pharmacist and was told my order would be ready today. I called this store, the associate was unable to find me by my full name and date of birth. She needed my phone number. After giving her my phone number, she asked which prescription, and placed me on hold . I waited for pharmacist to take call. The pharmacist said the quantity the doctor gave was incorrect and I had to call the doctor to fix. I called my doctor and had them transfer my prescription to Berkely. An hour after I spoke to the doctor's office, I called the Berkely store. Their system said the order is in process AND provided an exact time when my prescription will be ready today. It was actually ready 30 minutes before the Berkely location said it would be.This location lost my business for the remainder of my time in this area.

I couldn't cancel my transaction on the self-checkout machine and asked an employee (Andy) if he was able to (I wasn't sure if he was a manager). He snapped rudely with, "Well, is that what you want?" Why would I ask if I didn't, which is how I responded. He said something else rude, but I half-heard as I left the store.I shop at CVS quite a bit, but in my own town; I have never been treated rudely by any of the employees in that area, but I come to this one and get a man with a condescending attitude? No thanks. I only shopped here because my mom needed something; I'll take my own dollars right back to my small town where people are friendly and are respectful.

Pharmacist inside was very rude.. instead of saying hey we have a lined up inside with one cashier .. He says I have to be more patient without even seeing what the nature of my hitting the call button was for..Rude!!

I had a great experience here. My daughters diabetes prescription was not available at her current pharmacy and we were leaving for vacation the following morning. I was slightly panicked that I would have trouble finding it a surrounding pharmacy. I decided to stop into this pharmacy and thankfully they had her diabetic supplies in stock. They easily transferred her prescription over and I was out of the pharmacy within 15 minutes! Im truly grateful!

Go here all the time but today the Allpoint atm machine did not work. Which was very unusual because I use the machine all the time.

CVS Pharmacy on Eleven Mile Rd and Lahser in Southfield has had poor customer service for at least 30 years. It took me that long to get tired of it and move my prescriptions to a different location. I waited five minutes in the pharmacy drive-thru before being acknowledged and was told it would be another minute before I received service. I waited another five minutes before I drove off and had to come back the next day. I have finally had it with the sour attitudes and lack of interest to help customers and I will not spend my money at this location again!

This morning the tech in the drive thru told me that our Medicaid card was medical only and she could not use it as a secondary insurance. It is NORMAL to bill the primary and submit the remaining bill to straight Medicaid. PLEASE train your employees better. I was a tech for 4 years and don’t appreciate her confidently lying to me because of lack of knowledge.

Their times say they go to lunch at 1:30-2:00 so why is the drive thru closed at 1:25? I tried to walk in to pick up my prescription instead at 1:28 and as I’m walking up the lady looks directly at me and tries to close the gate and proceeds to say we are closed for lunch. No worries I’ll take my business elsewhere and choose a different pharmacy moving forward.

I am not from this area. The doctor who prescribed the medication instructed me to go here to fill it. First off, the pharmacy staff is very unfriendly and the most incompetent people I have ever met. The pharmacy cashier asked for my ID when I was buying children’s Tylenol and Motrin. I asked why she needed my ID and she said it was cough syrup. Not a great idea to have employees who can’t even read working at a PHARMACY! Low and behold, she did not need my ID. It took 45 minutes for me to get the prescription. I went in the drive thru. She but the entire wrong address in my account. After filling the scripts she asked for my insurance cards. I provided her my insurance cards and ID. She gave them back and told me the amount and said that she needs my ID for the prescription. The same ID I had just given to her 10 seconds before and she gave back! I gave it back to her once again and paid for my prescription. Not to my surprise, she only billed one of my insurances. She was incredibly rude and TERRIBLE at her job. I honestly won’t even give this pain medication to my son for fear that they could have messed it up due to their obvious incompetence. People like this should not be dealing with prescription medications!!

Truly the definition of useless. If you’re looking for the perfect to place to get a rapid covid test, please don’t waste your time coming to this location. I’ve been waiting for over 3 hours for a RAPID test result. I was told that I would receive my results after 1 hour. This is beyond pathetic. I called 3 times just to be told that my results are in, but have not been released. I would give 0 stars if that were possible.

The pharmacist at this location by the name of Nicole is unprofessional as the day is long. I attempted to ask about a prescription. The girl at the counter with pink waist long braids told me that my coupon did not cover the meds that I was trying to purchase. When pink hair could not tell me why it was not covered, I asked her if I could speak with someone that could give me the reason... enter Nicole. Nicole tells me that I need prescription to use the coupon online for an over the counter product. I said "well that doesn't make much sense". I asked, "so I would need to go to my dr and get a prescription for an over the counter product in order to use the coupon". She replied, " or you could call your doctor because they probably would prescribe something else". My response was, "exactly, so why would I need a prescription to use a coupon for an over the counter product". She then says, "well that's what the rx in Good Rx stands for". I reply I'm fully aware of what Good RX is that's how we got here. Never mind, I will just call from over here" and I stepped to the side. She walked to the back near her colleagues and began yelling things like, " you need to tell them to send it to us first" and she yelled something else about my condition that I was purchasing meds for. Bottomline is that in pharm school, like any other health profession, it is imperative that confidentiality is maintained when it comes to patients/ clients/ consumers. Not only was I humiliated in front of her staff and other waiting customers, but I also did not get to use my coupon as I just wanted to get away from the ghetto as soon as possible. Nicole definitely could use some continuing education classes on HIPAA Compliance, pharm etiquette, and professionalism.
