I have tried to patronize this store on many occasions. Today I went into the store for a cold ginger ale. Not a single one of any kind in the cooler. The cooler is Never stocked, I live right behind this cvs in a senior building. When I moved in it was a hot month July! My neighbors warned me Not to waste my time with the cvs in the community! But, I didn’t heed their warnings and Now I’m getting tired of going into a store that has nothing I need. Who is the manager? He/she should be terminated. Vaccines were not available there I had to drive to 10 mile for a flu, RSV vaccines. This is pitiful especially for Southfield residents who live by and make the bad decision to stop by CVS

I’ve gone into this store and had my 2 shingles shots and tetanus injection. The nurses that perform the injections are phenomenal. There’s a tall black woman that wears glasses that is extremely angry that she’s alive, she has a scowl on her face and has an extremely nasty attitude. Is there a score less than zero? I ordered a pick up order on Saturday July 1, 2023. I get a text today to say it’s ready for pick up at 8:17 am July 3, 2023. They don’t open until 9:00 am so I assume for pick orders the turnaround time is 48 hours. I won’t mention the phone calls I made to the store and the ignorant people that responded. When I didn’t receive notification of my order. This store has some very serious issues.

Get new district managers who care for their employees. Clearly you can tell the stores in the area aren’t managed well.

It's a clean CVS and it didn't take me too long to check out from the store. Parking is easy.

I had the worst experience today with Chad, store manager. I was there for passport picture. The register clerk called for Chad to help me take the picture.5 minutes later she called again.after waiting for 15 min he showed up. When I told him I waited for more than 15 minutes, he told me “ I should be glad he came to help me, if I don’t like it, I can go somewhere else” He just didn’t care and showed no regard for good customer care or just common decency. People like him should not be dealing with customers, let alone run the store. I and my family get our prescriptions at CVS, we will definitely be going somewhere else (as he put it)

Unfortunately…it’s not all the staff usually when I go in, the front of the store is very pleasant and helpful…it’s the pharmacy that’s terrible. One particular person has a very nasty attitude over the phone. Barely could explain what I was calling for…because I was immediately cut off and the tone of the person was very dry and rude. I understand people have bad days, but it’s unfair for customers to have to endure that. On top of that Robo calls give mixed information, Scripts sometimes aren’t ready on time especially when it’s new. Hopefully they get it together!

Went to the pharmacy today for a COVID booster . The pharmacist and staff are very unknowledgeable about current medical situations and eligibility. I ended up having to go to a different pharmacy for the booster .

I had a prescription called in for my eyes. I called to check the status of my prescription later on the day it was called in. The automated system said it would be ready the following day at 2pm. The following day at 2 i call before going to the store, the automated message has changed. It now says they have a prescription in progress....hmmm. I wait to speak to a pharmacy rep....not only did I have to call 5 times but was on my way to the store before they ever picked up. Id been on hold for over 20 minutes. Finally the nastiest employee in the store picks up: I state my reason for calling nicely, I get : "birthday" I give my dob, next she says name? I state my name then she says what's the medication? I didn't know the name of the medication. It's not something ive ever been prescribed before. Gone are the days of written prescriptions so i really didnt know the name of the medication. The store person puts me on hold, no warning no nothing. She returns to the line to say that they don't have the medication and that she's looking elsewhere for the medication. I know that I have the right to ask if they can order it, I wasnt given that option. I asked for a manager. I got a guy named Chad. I explained my situation. He finally came back to tell me that the manufacturer was out of the medication and that no store for 20 miles had it. Hmm, my next thought was why did they not contact me or the doctor who issued the prescription before then? My eyes are in baddd shape. The manager then agrees to contact my physician for an alternative medication and to call me back with updated information. That did not happen. Again I had to cal the pharmacy which now has a recording saying the alternative medication will be ready Friday at 6pm. I may have to go back to the doctor if its going to take this long. Im probably not going to use thus pharmacy again.

Every time I come to CVs to purchase a gift card or wrapping paper the line is ridiculous. After waiting in a line for 5 minutes, one of the cashiers told me that there was only one line, not two. There was no sign anywhere stating that. I've come to get medication that my doctor sends over and it's never ready. This place is a mission.

Pharmacy has no idea what they’re doing. Went in for a covid-19 vaccine booster, which I am eligible for according to the CDC website. The CVS website links to the page on the CDC website that lists all the conditions, including mine. The pharmacy tech kept insisting- and was very rude about it- that I did not qualify. I tried showing the website, she didn’t care. At the end I asked for the eligibility list corporate gave her. She gave me the eligibility list for third doses. That’s not the same thing as eligibility for 6 months booster doses, which is what I was there for and what I had made my appointment for in their system. Third doses are for immunocompromised people. Boosters are for high risk people who got their originals >6 months ago. If the PHARMACY doesn’t know the difference, what else are they screwing up… scaryI called CVS corporate when I left to find out if I could go to another location that knows what they’re doing or if this was really CVS policy. The customer service person confirmed that the pharmacy tech was wrong, and I should have gotten my booster.
