Went in about a headlight. Friendly and professional; upon checking if he could install headlight came back on. No purchase but when it went out again I went back. This time two employees; young lady not helpful at all. Very frustrating and gave me aisle, letter and number of my part and went back to conversation. Gentleman did install before his lunch break. Southfield location-experience was a turn off. I’ll go to another store.

Usually I experienced great customer service at this location but today I came in to acquire the cost of an air filter for my car. I thought the price went up compared to my past air filter purchase from autozone. I asked was it a recent price increase and the lady with the gray shirt behind the counter responded stating that she can check the prices back to 2001 but it won't make a difference. I've been working here for 5 years and I never seen it lower than this price. Do you want the air filter? I'm not sure where all this attitude is coming from. I was not rude or anything but I guess that's who they have employed there right now. I have never seen this woman worked at this location before. I do not need all of that extra from this women. I walked out and I went to O'Reilly's Auto Parts and got the air filter a lot cheaper.

I was polite patient and respectful, all I needed was a head lightbulb and all I got was terrible customer service. The Male (hazel eyed) Employee clearly didn't want to assist me as I approached the front of the line he looked away and I stood there a long time waiting for him to acknowledged me. He was most likely discriminating against me because when I left and went to Advanced Auto Parts they gave me no issues, even installed the lightbulb at no charge and it wasn't an easy install I appreciated their courtesy and made me look at AutoZone differently.The AutoZone employee told me there were 2 different (low beam) lightbulbs for my car and since I didn't know which one I needed and I told him I didn't know how to remove the lightbulb myself to bring it in and show him his response was "well I can't help you". It's funny because advanced auto parts never mentioned 2 different bulbs once I gave them the year make and model they just gave me the bulb. For that reason I will no longer shop at this AutoZone location and I will think of this experience every time I need to visit an AutoZone. This was August 22, 2023.

This Carlos guy (tall light skinned African American with bunch of tattoos on his arms) at this AutoZone branch is very rude and doesn’t know how to communicate. He has no patience to deal with customers and feels he’s too big to work at AutoZone. He has being rude to me not once but twice, dude if you think you’re too big for the job quit and find something else. No one forced you to work there, our monies put food on your table so be mindful.

the manager is a scammer, I bought Brake for my car for $61 and after 10 days I want to return it, she tells me that you paid $42 and she deleted the history when I bought it, such dirty people should not be hired as a manager in a store that everyone loves

These people are awesome! My truck broke down in the parking lot. It was SO HOT! They told me I could come inside. I needed to call a tow truck and my phone was almost dead. They gave me a chair, I'm disabled, and plugged in my phone so I could make the call. While waiting they ordered my part so I could get back on the road. I would recommend highly! Thank you for the kindness I was shown at this store!

I cannot believe how rude the staff are at this location. I called to ask for a part in stock. She kept me on hold for 8 mins and when she came back she said “ what do you need” I was like “what’s your name”? She said “Lisa”and i said “okay Lisa why do you have an attitude”? She clicked on me. I called back and she answered and I told her I will be contacting your district manager. I’m really not liking auto zones management. I feel like they are hiring anyone now a days.

Service was good and very helpful. Went to get fuel injection cleaner for my car really nice. Also went last week with Mom for her car because she need new wipers for her car. The guy was nice and he put it on My Moms car thanks appreciate that Auto Zone. ???Update February 16, 2023Had to go back and get wiper blades for Mom's car. Of course they put them on the car and I really appreciate them helping me out. Thank You and Blessings......?????

Take this from someone who may or may not be an employee there for HR purposes, MOST of us try to be very helpful, especially towards women and the elderly. Me in particular. I won't tolerate being around customers who won't help elderly folks or dog out women. That being said, women, stop coming to parts stores and letting your sons and boyfriends sit in the car while you put wiper blades and lights in! Have some self respect. While we are helpful, there are limits to what we can do. Installing fuses is NOT one of them. Too many people come in and can't even tell us what year car they are driving and get mad when we can't give them 100% effort. We didn't buy it; you did. We install blades bulbs and batteries, not electrical parts like fuses because if your system shorts out, it's our butts who are responsible. Don't be offended if we say we can't, it's corporate policy. I've gone above and beyond to help people I know didn't deserve it, but I try to treat everyone with dignity and decency and kindness until you show me why I shouldn't. I've loaned my personal tools out and they haven't been returned, gone to peoples apartments to install batteries off the clock for free, turned down hundreds of dollars in tips, and given out advice and tips on where to buy parts cheaper than our store. There is this crazy sense of entitlement, like because you spent money here we HAVE to install your parts, au contraire mon frere! That's a complimentary service. There are a lot of grown MEN who come and can't change a light bulb that takes all of 2 minutes because they didn't bother checking YouTube first. It's insulting to us to have you standing there on a phone and say you can't do something and the answer is in your hands! We don't say anything to you most of the time but when we go back in...you're definitely getting talked about like a DOG! Especially the women who come in and carry out batteries and your man is in the passenger seat rolling a blunt! We see it every day!
