Needed to get a passport, waited in line and when we got to the front the man rejected us and turned us away even though they take walk-ins between 11-1. My husband was leaving for several weeks for work and needed to get this done. We took time out of our day and I took time off work to do this. This is extremely rude and unacceptable, if you don't want to do your job, quit and let someone that actually wants to work do it.

Please update your hours on Google it says it's open until 6:30.I arrived at 5:40 and the door says they closed at 5pm.

Good luck getting a hold of anyone and when you do go in person and think they did the thing you needed to be done you find out they never did so wasted an entire FLIGHT out there because I had to go to this location to handle my deceased dad's stuff. This place us absolute garbage.

Very friendly staff. I did want to mention that they close at 5, not 6:30. The time on Google Maps needs to be updated.

Hi, set up an appointment to do my passports, and when I got there, a gentleman behind the desk told me that there was no one to do my pictures or renew my passport. I find it funny that when people take time out of your day to set up an appointment and wait 30 minutes in line they are rejected. Why allow somebody to set up an appointment if there’s nobody there to help you. DO NOT GO HERE. VERY RUDE

Been locked out of my mail box for 6 weeks now. Called 7 times before someone finally answered. They said lock would be changed in 2 days. A week later I called back and when phone was finally answered I was told I had to come in and pay $27 to get lock changed on THIER mail box. I got a call lock was changed so went in to pick up my key. They had changed the lock on the wrong box. Was insinuated I had provide wrong address. Sigh. Said would be changed the next Monday. Called Wed and told would be changed on Thurs. Called Friday and told I need to come in and prove who I am. I am so upset and frustrated. I have mail I desperately need! Has been going on forever and no one is fixing it! I just need access to my mail. Would help if they would just answer the dang phone to begin with!

Received notification that my package was transferred to the USPS South Lyon for final delivery. Pretty common. This is a package that is about 4 feet long. I received notification that the package could not be delivered "due to the mailbox was full". Did our driver really try to shove a 4ft package into a 1 ft mailbox then realize it didn't fit? Most likely not. She was too lazy to get out of her truck and deliver it to the front porch. Awful service by the USPS. Unfortunately the bad service doesn't stop there. Tried calling the South Lyon post office 3 times and the phone just rings.

They list a phone number, but I don’t know why as they never pick up it’ll ring for two minutes and then you’ll get a busy signal and a click that they’ve hung up. I’ve called 10 times with the same results. If this were an independent business, not associated with the government, it would never happen. It’s time the mail was taken out of the hands of the government, and given to the people.

The closing time per their website, their google account, and their phone answering service all say 630pm. I raced from work to mail something important before they closed only to find the office already closed at 605pm.
