So brought in 12 shirts to get laundered along with a couple other things . Was given 2 pick up slips no prices on it . Picked it up looked at receipt they laundered 5 shirts dry cleans 7 twice the price and never let me know if the shirt has polyester in it even thou it's 45% they on their own dry clean it without notification. So I question the tattoo girl why and she talked down to me . I asked why are these dry cleaned she refunded me a couple bucks for 3 shirts . Then I asked why are the dry cleaned shirts mixed with the laundered shirts I was told just cause it's a dry clean tag doesn't mean it wasn't laundered and visa versa. I said don't you have a system she replied that's the way we do things here. If you want to talk to the owner she in tomorrow have a good day just dismissed me. I know I probably only send 500. A Year but will take my business to a place that's up front about charges and treats people better .

I have used Parkside for both dry cleaning and alterations. Dry cleaning was perfect. No dog hair left on my suits, and everything looked brand new. The alterations were amazing. They had to remove so much fabric because I'm short, so good bye to about 1 ft of fabric. They did a great job of making sure the buttons on the sleeve remained as details, even while the sleeves were drastically shortened. They were fast, friendly, and budget friendly. 10/10

Love love love this place. !!!! Used them when my daughter got patches sewn onto her varsity jacket many years ago- recommended them to her when she was in town and had to get a bridesmaid dress steamed fast - they delivered- then last week ordered and got same day a personalized charcuterie board !!! Who knew? Lovely local business - much more than your local dry cleaner-a gem!!!

So, here's what I've learned over my short lifetime in regard to cleaners: Live and learn. Meaning: Some seem great up front but then nyour clothes during to cheesecloth over time...meh. I have a good feeling about Parkside though. The staff is on top of it and while maybe a little pricey, they are a super local business so I'm happy to pay a little more to make sure a good dry cleaner stays alive. I'll be back to launder my good threads as long as they love them as much as I do.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel like this is a public service. This place CHARGES DOUBLE what my dry cleaner in Novi charges or any dry cleaner I’ve been to that wasn’t inside a hotel. The justification is that they spend more time on the collars and cuffs and that it’s the market rate. They have a drive through and hand you your stuff through a window? I just spent $40 pressing it, why wouldn’t you come out and hang it? It baffles the mind how they can get away charge

I decided to move my business to across the street. They're so over priced and the quality continues to be marginal and I did the math at four dress shirts saving $1 each and three suit pieces saving $.50 each Im saving $275 per year. Pretty excited to go elsewhere!

EXCELLENT customer service. I got a varsity jacket for my son there and initially was not happy with how it turned out. (In hindsight, I should have asked to see a sample of what the finished product would look like - my fault.) They were SO accommodating and went through a lot of effort to make sure that I ended up with something that I loved. I was really impressed with the service and I felt very valued as a customer. Wonderful local business!

Brought in my new winter coat for a decorative patch. $6- Employees were friendly. Price was very reasonable!!Service was fast & Quality of work was GREAT! I have a few formal items that need tailoring and I will definitely be back.

Parkside cleans and presses everything from wedding gowns to leather/suede, to dress shirts! They have a convenient drive-thru so you can quickly drop off your items if you're in a hurry, or you can use their pick up/delivery service. Their seamstress does a wonderful job as well; she made some adjustments to my husband's work uniforms, and they now fit perfectly. I highly recommend this business.
