I originally started taking my dog to Dandy Acres, but once each visit started to be $200 for just simple things, it was no longer affordable-especially when I could go somewhere else and spend a FRACTION of the cost to get the same services. So u would just I get my dogs preventative meds (flea/heartworm) from them.I would be told my dog needed a certain test in order to be able to just get the meds, ok fine-I went to another vet and took the results to them-no problem, and I was given t the meds I needed.Upon my last call to them last week to renew the meds I was told my dog needs an office, and a test (which he had just received at another vet) to get preventative meds. I advised the person on the phone (who had the most nastiest attitude) my dog had the test last month and I have the results to show (as I have done with them in the past) and was told he needed to come be seen by their Dr.-which you don’t even see-it’s literally like a zoom session with a nurse in the room and they want over $100 for that. Yeah right.I will never go to Dandy Acres again.Started using VetIQ who not only has COST EFFECTIVE SET PRICING, and a ACUTAL DR. ON SITE but also allows me to order my dogs preventative meds in advance and ship to me for free. There are more cost effective places than Dandy Acres, and I’m glad I found it, my only regret is not finding them before I even came to Dandy Acres.

I’ve brought my dog here for the last 3 years. The care is very good; the staff is friendly and helpful. I can usually get an appointment the same day which is awesome. I don’t get medications here for my dog. The markup is ridiculous! No one could afford taking care of their dog buying meds at the hospital. Check your prices at Costco and Chewy before you buy them here.

Friendly, capable staff helped me schedule multiple appointments with ease. Doctor explained things clearly and listened carefully to my concerns. Super clean facility -- so glad I found this place!

If you are ok with the veterinarian being on Zoom, yet being charged an absolute premium while a couple nice young kids are in the room diagnosing your pet and explaining it to the Dr who is on the TV, this place is for you. We have two healthy dogs, and we are more than $4200 into Dandy acres since April. Our 5 year old had a limp, after a cluster f on their part, $2300 later, they can't find anything wrong. Maybe because there isn't a Dr to diagnose the problem. Our puppy had a little limp from playing and being a puppy, I was told it's hereditary and a quote for $1400 to fix it. I said no way, limp was gone the next day. Every time I walk out of there I feel like I've been ripped off. They charged me $43 for a small bottle of non prescription shampoo, got home and found it for $18 on Amazon. Fired them. You should too. Two stars because they were nice while ripping me off.

I had a very sick kitty and my regular vet couldn’t see her for 3 days! I contacted Dandy Acres and they were able to see her right away! Everyone was very nice and the vet called me with updates. She is feeling better and so am I! You have a new customer and friend Dandy Acres! Thank you!

I am very glad to have selected Dandy Acres for my veterinary services and would recommend them to others. They were very caring and treated my two cats as their own. We were well informed as to treatment, follow up and cost.

I never write reviews, but I have to rave about Dandy Acres. They are so wonderful, accommodating, and compassionate that I've continued going there after moving 45 minutes away. My dog loves them so much that she literally drags me into the building when we visit. My dog recently needed exploratory surgery, and they have been so kind and attentive. They promptly helped her when she wasn't even on their schedule and have checked in on her recovery even when they were closed. What has otherwise been a very stressful situation has only been tolerable because of their care.

My kitten was seen here for an emergency fracture. A week later she was healing fine and we did not want to financially go any further. Dandy Farms then called the Huron Valley Animal Cruelty Investigators on us.The two investigators paid usa visit later that day and realized everything was fine with my kitten. Beware if you cannot afford their high prices they may call animal cruelty on you.

I have only been here once but had a great, positive encounter with everyone I met. Not to mention I called them completely last minute to get my dog in on the fourth of July weekend for last minute checkup and flea and tick prevention for our last minute camping trip! I will definitely be back :)

Great experience here at dandy acres. I had been trying to get my dog in at his usual vet for what I thought was an ear infection and they said they would not be available for almost a week, I called dandy acres this morning and they were able to schedule us an appointment less than 2 hours after I called. My dogs normal vet only does drop off appointments so I was glad that I got to stay and be in the room with him while they did the exam. Both of the girls that came in were so kind and very patient with him, they gave him lots of treats to ensure that he was comfortable. The doctor was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, she even allowed another doctor to come in to look in his ear since he wasn’t keeping his head still at first. Our visit was quick, they confirmed that he had an ear infection, and gave us meds to take home to get him feeling better! Will definitely use them again and recommend them to others ?

A veterinarian clinic is supposed to be like a hospital for our loved ones because our pets are like family. If you believe that too I would NOT take your pet here. They lack communication and sympathy (even if the sympathy part isn't their job, its called being a decent human). They weren't busy and I also waited two hours, but that's beside the point at this time. First impressions are a huge deal, people should be thankful you chose their clinic for your loved pet and also to spend the massive amounts of money there. Communication is the key with the customer, provider/"doctor" as well as the staff so that everyone has the same information and understanding of what is going on even if it is calling a customer back while they're waiting for blood results for their pet so that they can continue to make another appointment for the next procedure for their pet. Thankfully there are better veterinarians I can go to at this time to provide better care and actually have a heart. I read the replies from the "owners" on the other reviews, I expected so much more from this place, Hopefully they can do better job improving so they don't lose anymore customers again. It was my first time here with my kitten that should tell you enough since I'm not returning. I would NOT take another pet here again or ever recommend this place to anyone I love or hate.Edited in regards to the owners reply like I said I expected so much more from what they call themselves a "professional company". They continued to argue Instead of making it right, real professional right.

We were very impressed with Dandy Acres, and plan to bring our dog there from now on. The employees were wonderful and his exam was very thorough. We didn't have to wait a long time - even though we stopped in without an appointment, they took us right away. Thank you for such great service!Jan HamerDog - Shadow

These are some of the nicest individuals I have ever encountered at a vet. They're so helpful, understanding, and kind. Both of my dogs have had some medical stuff going on and they're always willing to see us promptly.Their prices are quite high compared to our previous veterinarian - but I'm willing to pay more for the pleasant experience.
