Very odd to wait a few minutes in line at the pharmacy, be told “I’ll be with you in a minute”, then not have anyone come to the window again for more than 10 minutes. 15 minutes without getting what I was there for is pretty unprofessional.

You come to Kroger Pharmacy, and yell at a member of MY team, because you're *upset* at a recent influx of new customers?
Listen, this malicious behavior is nothing new. I used to work at your pharmacy, and I know all too well just how nasty the employees there can get. Nevermind the eternal war between tech and pharmacist over how to fold a piece of paper, I've personally seen members of your team having contempt for the disabled. For anyone with so much a stutter.
The summer is hot, and many people are getting sick. I understand getting irritable when things get hard. But the next time someone at Kroger's asks you *kindly* about your healthcare needs, try to remember that we're all in this together.
Our people MUST communicate to ensure our community's proper wellness & care....

At our front door no less!

Staff literally mimicking me. Rude and unprofessional. Not surprised by the 1 star reviews here.

Extremely rude pharmacy techs. I think they especially hate it if you are coming straight from the urgent care down the street. I guess if you show up for your meds the same day, you should get treated like crap and they lie to people saying it takes time to enter the system. Yeah, well a different CVS had it ready within 20 minutes. Will NOT be back to this pharmacy.

I had a rather complicated 3 different prescriptions that needed filling in a timely manner. The pharmacy team at this CVS location sprang into action and had all 3 scripts in under an hour. They even had to call the hospital to clarify a few things. I am impressed by their dedication and grateful for their efforts.

If i could give 0 i would. It is not your job as a pharmacist to be a horrible human being, get a different job if you're so miserable. Bad people, bad customer service and the tall male pharmacist smells bad

Somehow checking out 2 people takes over 30 mins. I get faster service at the Secretary of State office.

I'm surprised this place hasn't killed anybody. Word to the wise, ask your doctor the specific amount of drugs you're supposed to be receiving, and then call your insurance company and see what the price is if you choose to use this place. I have had more than a handful of incidents at this place that proved incompetence in the pharmacy. One of my kids had medication that the price just seemed to continuously go up every time I picked it up. I figured it was probably poor insurance coverage(and it most likely was, but now I question if they ripped me off). My other child has diabetes and is insulin dependent. I had several experiences where they tried to charge me incorrect copays(once they tried to charge me $1,200 for something that didn't have a copay.) I would call them up, give them insurance information over the phone, told that "it's taken care of" just to go up there and find out that it wasn't "taken care of". When I started bringing this up, they kept trying to convince me it was my insurance(it wasn't, they just didn't put the information in like they said they did). This happened a few times by different employees so it wasn't just one bad egg. EVERY time I had a problem, they tried to convince me it was either insurance or the doctor in an effort to avoid admitting incompetence. Prescriptions would get sent over and they wouldn't fill the entire prescription. The last straw was when they tried to deny my child's insulin(now we have a potential medical emergency in the works). I informed the pharmacy that the error is most likely on their end as it consistently has been in the past, just for them to, once again, blame either my insurance or the doctors. Spoiler alert - it wasn't insurance or the doctors. WHAT THEY DID WAS BILL MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE FULL PRESCRIPTION AND SHORTCHANGE ME HALF OF THE PRESCRIPTION. Had I waited 2 days, I would have never found this out. They clearly DO NOT know how to bill insurance correctly(which means you are probably paying the incorrect $ amount for medication), and from my experience, chose to disregard reading skills and paying attention to detail as qualifications to the job. Now they can simply claim this was a mistake(and they finally did so and gave me the other half "off the books), however, my child has 2 types of insulin, a "slow release" and one to use with every meal. They had no problem give me about a years worth of "slow release" insulin in a couple of months, but then tried to convince me that we went through the other insulin too quickly. I have seen A LOT of older people come in here, and I wonder just how many of them that they may have ripped off throughout the years or if they denied them medication also. Had I not sought out information(multiple hours on the phone over time) and stood my ground, I would have just assumed my insurance wasn't that good. The ERROR was on their end, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Between not knowing how to bill my insurance correctly, not giving me correct amount of medication, the amount of misinformation they handed out, and the overconfidence that they are never wrong, I wouldn't trust them to give me Aspirin at this point.

CVS Store #8066 is most definitely the jewel of the South Lyon, Michigan CVS locations. Kyle, Gareth, Pam, Juanita, Nathan, Ray, & Olivia ALL provide exceptional customer service. All are very courteous, helpful, kind, and go well above & beyond of what’s expected of them when it comes to taking care of their customers. If it (customer service) were a sport they would be World Champions. I’ve been a proud customer of that particular CVS location for 18 years now and I hope to be coming there for at least another 18 years. Keep up the great work and thanks again for everything CVS #8066!!!

No matter who you work with at this pharmacy, they question you for the meds your doctor prescribes for your cancer. Not for safety but almost like it’s a challenge to just get a script when you don’t even want to be taking anything in the first place. The biggest complaint is that no matter when you call, you will never get through. I usually give up at the 10min mark. I’ve tried an insane amount of times given I don’t want to drive up there if my medications are not ready or available yet every single time from July 2023-September 2023….this is what happens. CVS has gone down hill big time. Especially this location. All staff are miserable and it shows in their ability to care for others.

Maybe I should have followed the reviews. Came through the drive thru to pick up some medication and the pharmacy staff were way beyond rude (and aggressive). They even had the audacity to ask why I wasn't in the store to pick up what I needed. Perhaps retraining is needed for the staff. I'll just go to the 10 mile one, they're better anyways.
