Braclet arrived damaged customer service very horrible would not even respond and tried to contact the owner whith many emails and no respond so I just got scammed out of my money and wouldn't even give me a refund. I am very upset whith soha I was even recommend to purchase from you guys but I regret It. They never even emailed me back after I sent them the messages and its supposed to be great customer service do not believe it

We went to the river location on a Sunday and didn't need to make a reservation day of. Tandem kayaks are reasonably priced and it's a down and back on the river. Kayaks are also pretty high quality but prepare to get wet bc the kayaks have holes in them that let in water. Great outdoor activity and upper body workout!

Purchased a swim shirt for my 4 year old daughter. Wore it one time in the water- it peeled and turned orange.Went in the next day (today) to exchange or get a refund. Waited 25 minutes for the owner to come in and make a decision with an associate upstairs.The owner then sent the associate back down to tell us tough luck. Wouldn’t even speak to us. Buy somewhere else.update: ownernship let us keep the shirt and refunded us. thank you so ha team for making this right. I’ve updated my rating.

This is a great little surf and skate shop. Surf/paddel boards and surf/skate attire. They also have sunglasses, everything is name brand. They even sell Quicksilver tshirts with the surf shop's name on it.

We rented a tandem kayak to do the Black River. Getting on the kayak was easy but we wish the person assisting had asked if we had ever kayaked previously which we had but years previously to give us pointers on steering the kayak as we were competing with motor boats navigating the river. In addition, we had to shout from the water to ask him how they wanted the kayak returned! A frustrating time that was only marginally fun as we had enjoyed it previously over the years.

The service was friendly and prompt. The only thing that would have made it better is if the rentals weren't so far from the beach, or if they helped carry them to/from the beach since the equipment isn't light.

I heard this is the same owners as Emma’s boutique which I had a terrible experience with. And it was the same with this shop. I’m not sure if the owners were in while I was in but someone who looked older was behind the register with a big attitude. When I went in it was closing shift I believe and the guys there were just giving me side eye the whole time. They started cleaning, turning off lights, and even clearing the cash register while I was in there with my husband! DONT COME. Other than the paddle board which I still have left to try!! EDIT: I should not have to explain myself as I just visited town, you are right I don’t know how your store works, but maybe having better staff will help, your responds just gives more points to my review on how unprofessional you guys are

We were from out of town and had roughly 9 people in the family and wanted to kayak. We made our reservations on-line along with payment a day before renting kayaks and picked our time to kayak along Black River. The kayaks were ready for us when we got there and we did not have any wait or issues. The guide gave us a couple of pointers and off we went. The kayaks were all very easy to use and had no issues with the equipment. I would definitely recommend renting from this shop.

I rented a few paddle boards and a kayak with my friends and girlfriend 5/23 and the worker ( I believe his name was Lorenzo but my memory is terrible ) was amazing! It was our first time on paddle boards , so I’m sure we were annoying acting like chickens, but he was patient and helped us get on and off the boards. The river itself was beautiful. Would defiantly come here again due to the great service. Perfect way to end a trip to south haven!

Rentals were a good price. Wished the attendant would ask more questions on what we were looking for. Overall great experience. One thing beyond their control is that when the beach is as crowded as it was, it's tricky to land the kayak on shore without bumping into people.
