The only place I’ve taken my Wrangler for repairs & they always take care of me & provide excellent customer care with detailed updates throughout the process.

I bought a car here, needed a new engine which was covered by my warranty. My sales person Keith was awesome. the company doesn't have a tow company so you'll have to pay out of pocket. No loaner cars so if something goes wrong with your car your screwed out of a vehicle.

We drove 2 hours to see a jeep. Jeremy was great and we really liked working with him. Jeep drove well. My husband checked it all over and even looked underneath to see how it all looked. We were excited to purchase this jeep. We drove home 2hrs and back the next day to finish the purchase because it was past bank hours the day prior. Everything went smoothly. We purchased the extended warranty knowing we were buying a used vehicle. However, 8 days into ownership a horrible noise started coming from the front passenger side and my husband found a bad U-joint. We contacted McFadden's and after speaking to Jeremy he contacted his upline who said that it had passed all inspections but if we wanted to bring it down he could have his service department take a look ... Okay cool however it wasn't driving right and I told him I wasn't comfortable driving it because it was 2 hrs away and asked what else we could work out. He said he wasn't sure would contact us back.... While waiting we had a local licenced mechanic come to our house and take a peek at it and he advised not to drive it because it had way too much slip. I then received a phone call from Rusty and immediately had him call my husband because he knew more of what was going on. My husband told him it wasn't safe to drive, asked if a local shop could look at it and communicate with them because otherwise it needed to be towed or we needed to find a way to haul it down there. Rusty / nobody wanted to help us except our salesman at McFadden's. We then felt stuck and decided okay we will just use the extended warranty. The shop found both front U-joints to bad, both front shocks were bad and one was leaking and had appeared to have been "cleaned up". Zurich the extended warranty company sent a person to the local shop we took the jeep to to look over the findings. $1100 worth of repairs and they were found to be "pre-existing" and they only paid $200 towards the u-jounts and what they thought the labor should be for that the remaining balance we had to pay out of pocket. I called once we heard from Zurich and left a voicemail for I believe Steve and never received any form of contact back. I understand buying a used vehicle but this was absolutely ? ridiculous and unacceptable on their part. I am so disappointed in this company and the way they handled this.

I drove 3 hours with a cashiers check in hand to purchase a Nissan Murano from McFaddens (Novi Mi to South Haven). The car was parked out front awaiting us and the first thing we noticed when we started looking at the car interior was it wasn't clean (really? we have something called an "appointment" and you couldn't do a once over before we got there?). Ok, it's not the end of the world...let's keep looking. McFadden's did provide a Car Fax and it showed that the vehicle was in a minor accident to the front end. No biggie...the price was right for the car. As we continued to look over the car the bumper panel where the accident occurred was sticking out and not flush with the fender. You could see where fasteners should be but were missing (McFaddens does have a body shop...hey guys...might what to fix that...). Ok, the price is still right. Took it for a drive and when we turned around to come back my wife sat in the back seat to check the back seat controls were working (a/c, heat, etc). Happily they were however there were crayons stuffed into the back set pocket. Yeah, way to prep the car before a customer looks at it! When we returned to the dealership we pointed out, again, that the car was not ready in the many ways we found. We were introduced to the sales manager, Jeremy, and I ran through the short list of short comings of the vehicle and without hesitation he said to me "Well maybe this vehicle isn't right for you". In which I replied, "Yep, it isn't right for me" and we returned to our car for the 3 hour drive home (great customer service Jeremy!). On a high note, on the way back we searched locally to where we live for a Murano and found a 2019 Murano, 20K less miles, new tires, new brakes (clean interior!) for $1,500 more at Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills. I told the sales person, Issa, about our long morning and showed him the cashiers check I still had (made out to McFadden Motors) and said that this was the best I was going to do. He honored that number and did better by $50. Oh happy days!
PS. We scored on some great blueberries while out in the South Haven area. Kind of a long way to drive for blueberries but yummy none the less.

Truly the worst experience ever. Dealer knew we were driving 3 hours to check out vehicle, check in hand, for two days. Car was filthy, bumper was unattached on passenger front side--literally back pocket was filled with crayons and stains everywhere. When we asked about the bumper and filth we were told by Jeremy the sales mgr. (who had been driving the car) 'it's a used car' and 'they must have forgotten a clip'. If you know you are selling a car for $23,000 and buyer is coming 3 hours, wouldn't you make sure it was spotless and have everything possible fixed. Instead of apologizing and working with us he said, 'doesn't sound like this is the car for you'. Luckily we found a car, the same day, for less money and few miles because the dealer worked with us and wanted our business.

I would like to thank Keith for all the hard work for helping me to purchase my new car with McFadden’s, not only did he help but he even offer to come pick me up during work because my car had gotten hit so I couldn’t drive my car so he came to pick me up from Benton harbor. He was very patient, and courteous the whole time we went through so much but everything worked out well and he’s definitely all about the customer needs and wants!!! I give him a over 5 rating if the website allow it:) Thank you Keith for helping me purchase my 2018 Hundai Sonata Sport SUV full loaded and it has so many features?

Had my 2019 Jeep towed to the dealership, upon diagnosis they recommended a new transmission and gave a verbal quote of nearly $7000.00. When asked why they did not mention the fact that it was still covered under the 5-year warranty the response was " OOPS I MUST HAVE MISSED THAT ". I trusted them and they really disappointed me with the value of their word. The vehicle is no longer in their care and clearly, they could care less!

Absolutely the worst dealer i have worked with. Do not shop!
I purchased a brand new punk'n orange Jeep Sahara in June 2023. The dealer refused to honor the Chrystler retiree discount because of the color (should have walked away right then!!) This alone was an insult after 3 generations of my family retiring from Chrystler. When we took the jeep home and took the top off, we noticed sand under the pain for over half of the roll cage. After a full year, dozens of phone calls, and even escalation through jeep wave, the paint is still damaged with high risk of downstream impact and rust due to the sand. This dealer will deflect, ignore, and refuse to support the consumer. The staff only concerns themselves with achieving the sale....not consumer satisfaction or retention. Next step is the attorney will engage both the dealer and Jeep for Magnusson Moss Act violations in warranty honoring.
Buyer beware! This dealer is not where you want to shop! Make the drive to Grand Rapids or Indiana!
*** UPDATE...Thank you for your reply. At the time i purchased the Jeep Wrangler there were at least 4 others on the lot and available for purchase. Some I test drove the previous week. I am saddened that a false claim of no/low stock is perceived as justification for denying a retirees discount, especially since the discount is so minuscule.
Although I agree there is an issue with Jeep as a corporation in this situation, that does not account for the lack of support, call backs as promised, or lack of attempt to provide alternative resolutions by McFadden motors. Per the dealer agreement, the dealer holds these responsibilities. Dealerships rely on building relationships with consumers. It is appreciated that the owner of McFadden motors, in reply to this review, has openly admitted to not providing warranty support for issues requiring body work for any Jeep sold, even new jeeps, by the dealership. This acknowledgement supports the review rating.

Definitely ask for Keith I wasn't sure if I was able to even get anything with my credit and my budget but keith worked with me and made sure I was out the door with a beautiful reliable affordable car. Alot of sales people always look for the big bucks they can make from the sale but he was honest to me on the quality of the cars and was upfront on trying to make the best choice for me. I appreciate it so much
