Absolute top notch service by seasoned skilled mechanics. They know their Fords very well and did a superb job changing the exhaust manifolds on my super duty. I can and have done most of my automotive repair work for most of my life because I want to save money and more so because I don’t want to pay shops that may not do a thorough good job. After having Goodwins service my truck, I’ve decided I’m hanging up any major repair work on my own and gladly taking it to them to do.Old school, friendly, knowledgeable and best of all Honest. These shops & people are very hard to come by. They have me as a loyal customer from now on.

Stopped in to ask a mechanic a few quick questions about my newly purchased truck. Was greeted by a super friendly employee who had the Bob the owner/mechanic speak to me. We went over my questions and concerns and he took the truck for a ride with me for further diagnosis. Bob was very knowledgeable and very willing to listen and offer his thoughts and insight. Overall a great experience, they live up to their reputation and any future work on this Ford will be done by them.

Got my car stuck while on vacation in the UP. I don't recall the gentleman's name who came out with a tow truck to pull me out. However, he was very friendly and helpful. If I was a local, I would go to this shop all the time now. Great, friendly service!

We found ourselves stranded when our car would not start. Across the parking lot, the Goodwin's truck was loading a car that had been in an accident. I walked accross and talked to the driver. He came and looked at my car and thought it needed to be towed. He offered to take us home, drop off the accident car and then come back and get out car. Gosh!!!! Where to start. Goodwin's is absolutely one of the best companies I have ever dealt with! They are a small, family owned company, and that was so incredibly comforting right from the start!My wife, and I own a small, family owned limousine company in southern Wisconsin, and I was up in Marquette picking up a regular client that we have. I had driven past Goodwin's many of times, and have thought that if needed it would be a shop that I could use. Well, this past week, I was forced to do just that. While transporting "Tommy", an autistic client that I have, my stretch limousine just stalled, and would not start again. After being referred to Goodwin's by a passerby, I remembered seeing it, and knew that they were the one's that I was needing to call.With the cold, and snowy, weather, I was more concerned about "Tommy" then anything. I knew that I needed to get him off the road, and into somewhere warm. So, when I called Goodwin's, and Laurie answered the phone, I got a sense of kindness right from the start. She put Bob on the phone, and I explained what was happening with the car, and that I needed a tow for a stretch limousine. Bob's first concern was, also, getting us off of the road, and into a warm vehicle. When he arrived with his wrecker, I got out and briefly explained to him about "Tommy". The kindness that Bob, Laurie, and Bill showed him was beyond no other!!! I truly believe that they are were Godsent in a very stressful situation!!It turned out that my stretch limousine needed a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and control box. Goodwin's entire staff dropped EVERYTHING to fix my limousine so that we could continue on to Skokie, Illinois to drop off "Tommy".I don't know what else to say, but Thank you..... Thank you SOOOO much!!!! I would certainly recommend Goodwin's to anyone in need of good, honest automotive service!!!!
