I'd give them no stars if I could. Brought a 2 year old bull in back in jan. and they never let it hang. We got it back in a week and half the cuts made no sense. I got sirloin steaks that were the size of a dinner plate with bones in them. All the steaks are tough because they never let it hang. Never got beef ribs just spares. No porterhouses. I've brought pigs in and they had legs broke and lost hams. They say it was from killing them but I'm pretty sure it's because they let other people put there animals in with ours. We raise those animals, put our blood sweat and tears into it and it's not cheap. They say they arnt responsible for the animals when they are in their possession...that makes no sense to me. So it's ok to over book and let others put their animals in with ours and have a free for all fight? They're way to expensive to be getting the product you get back. They don't know what they're doing.

We have been taking beef here for a few years and never had an issue until they raised their prices for processing by a lot within months. In May processing for a quarter was $.65/lb and in Sept it's $1.05/lb. Cubing was $1.25/lb and is now $2/lb. Environmental fee went from $14/quarter to $20/quarter. Our price went from close to $150 for a quarter to $245/quarter within 3.5 months. Prices got outrageous.

Been going there for 30 plus years. As long as they are there, l will go no place else to get my butchering done. They do an excellent job. Hats off to Ben and his staff.

Great Place to take your deer.Update:Since my first post I've taken numerous deer back and we had 2 steers processed as well. Reading the other comments I don't understand the negative remarks. Ben's does an amazing job and the people are very friendly. Sadly some folks don't understand the process and the loss of weight from live to processed with beef. There is also a misconception of how much meat you can get from a white tail deer. :)

Be honest. Don't say one thing then do another. Provide resolution to issues, follow through with what you say. Don't keep all the prime cuts of beef (tenderloin, Porterhouse, Tbone). Do not overload the burger with so much fat, 1 pound of burger I get 6oz of fat dripping.
