All the docs AND the techs here are great to work with. I've worked with Veterinary Clinics in 4 states over the last 40 years, and have never found a better place for either dogs or cats than Veterinary General. Remarkably, even if they're nervous about going to the vet, as soon as the dogs see the doctor they relax! All five of these kids give a solid 2 thumbs up.

Thank you for your compassion regarding Shady and myself. Very difficult to put a fur baby to sleep but your caring is amazing and got us in as to not let her suffer. God Bless you ??✝️

Dr. Barta and his staff are kind and professional. They have helped me with two senior pets and went out of their way during a holiday season to help my elderly cat when he was suffering near the end of his life. The front desk staff and vet techs are calm, proactive, gentle, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Barta conducts a thorough physical exam, which is a waning art, in my experience. Although he will notify you of any irregularities, he is also quick to allay your fears when something is a normal sign of aging or not a problem you currently need to worry about. The other clients entering all looked happy and relaxed. I recommend this veterinary practice.

After making me wait for an hour then I was told another client arrived early. I decided to leave at that point after for a call back with an explanation of why I decided to call back and the phone was answered by a rude supervisor who apparently though my wasted time was not important

Call the wrong number for appointments, tie a leash around my bulldogs neck every time, even after his eye surgery. Should know better than to do that to a bulldog. Eye surgery failed.... cost me 1000$ all to be back to square one. Told them after surgery the one eye failed. They took him back for 30 seconds. Gave him back said "ok thanks hes doing good.".... really thorough and professional. Nice sales pitch for the surgery. Feeling a bit cheated and rushed for profits . Poor dog just wanted normal eyes.

My veterinarian retired and I did a lot of research trying to find a new one, I found Veterinary General and after reading the reviews and a little more research I decided to give them a try and I’m so glad I did. My dog has severe allergies, chewing and scratching herself raw and desperately needed medication which I was out of. I explained my situation to them and they got me in the very next day. I got the medication my dog needed. Everyone who works there were friendly and kind, from the ladies up front to the techs and vet. They really seem to genuinely care about my dogs needs and that was only the first appointment. Veterinary General is now my new veterinarian clinic. Thank you Veterinary General for all you do.

This place is wonderful! Most patient people I have meet in my life . It’s such a relief to have people I trust with my boys. I’m so grateful for all the staff that work there butts off. It’s not easy to do this job. Im so glad we found them.
