After reading most of the reviews posted about this location, my experience today seems to be in the norm of the quality of customer service that this location provides. It seems like the staff would benefit immensely from retraining, and maybe a visit from corporate to oversee and observe day-to-day interactions. As a director of operations, I would be mortified if my staff addressed and spoke to our clients in the way Marissa acted in our interaction this afternoon. I was so taken aback that I didn’t even know how to act because I never want to complain or jeopardize someone’s job but the switch up in her attitude when the manager was in our presence solidified that she knew she was acting unprofessional before I asked to speak with a manager. Customer service is not for everyone, and there is nothing wrong with that but if you know that you have a short fuse, do not know how to conduct yourself in a professional manner or effectively communicate, act combative and snarky, then maybe working a cash register at Ulta is not your forte. I do want to say that the manager who came up to help at the register was very professional and had a good attitude and could effectively communicate. I also want to say that I definitely matched her energy back when she kept coming at me sideways.

Very rude cashiers/managers. An Elf product that I regularly buy had a sign that said $3 but it rang up $4. I questioned it and she didnt even bother to look and just said adamantly that it was $4. So I paid the extra and then went to check. I took a picture of the sign that said $3. I mentioned it to another employee. Instead of being nice in anyway she just pointed to the end of the long line and said well you are going to have to get back in line if you want the refund. Then once I got back up to the cashier they were all confused on how to be sure what the price was. I ended up just having them refund my purchase and left. I will avoid going back there. Reading the reviews it seems like people have similar expeiences with rude/condescending employees there. Ulta, please address the rude attitudes!

Me and my girl friend came in on a whim the other day in need of a few things and when we got to the counter and I pulled up my $10 off of $40 the older lady (maybe 50s) with long blonde hair at the counter was very short with me spoke under her breath something I probably did not want to hear and quite literally snapped at me in a rude tone “that coupon is not valid on any of your products.” Then, she proceeded to cut me off at the end of my sentence when I went to say that it was ok and I still wanted to buy the products. I was super kind and did not say anything to her about her behavior, now wishing I had held her accountable because it is never ok to treat people in a negative manner. I almost didn’t get any of the stuff just because of her treatment. Hope nobody else has this experience. (Update: After looking at some of the reviews I see this issue is a continuing one with the same lady and I’m sorry to those who have had the same or similar experience as me. Hope this location will hold her accountable, shouldn’t be on the customer).

I don't normally shop the ULTA on Hall Road but I was in the area and needed foundation. Hall Road is a busy road with a lot of shopping, so the store was pretty busy. Even so, Trisha was able to help me find the shade of foundation I needed and I was able to get in and out of there quickly so I could finish running my errands. The employees are very nice, the store is clean and there is plenty of parking...

Ulta beauty sent email for me on Mother’s Day’s I won Estée Lauder But I have to do the survey I did everything after i finsh the said we will send you the gift just pay the shipping I paid 15:99 shipping from two weeks ago but I didn’t receive any thing that is to bad I always buying lot of stuff from them they steal the money that’s not nice for big company like Ulta.

Almost every lady here is rude. I’ve had one of the rudest interactions here today by a blonde lady in her 50s. You should learn from the lady next to you at the register on how to respond to costumers without making face expressions and answering in a condescending tone, otherwise if you don’t like your job and interacting with people just quit. It’s a beauty store and people come in to get things that make them feel better about themselves, and instead we get treated like that. Lost on a big receipt, never coming back there!
