Stony Lake Market is NOT closed. It has been remodeled into a very cool store featuring a ton of healthy and Michigan made products. Pizza all year, lunches, ice cream shop in the summer. Impressive alcohol selection. Clothes, stuff for kids, and some really cute gifts. Plus, an awesome crew of people working there. A true gem for Stony Lake!

Too modern for me, I like the way it used to be, I don't care for dogs in a store I want to buy food out of, too bad things change, the old ways are the best ways, please bring back the original look, it truly used to be a landmark and very heart welcoming, that store front belongs in city

My family and I have a cottage just up the road from here. My diet is very specific for health reasons and let me tell you - walking in here, I'm always able to find something I can eat! Last time I was in I found a frozen grain free pizza! I live in Grand Rapids and I often can't find things like that, even with our large variety of stores and options! I absolutely love having this place down the road from our home away from home and will always give them my business!

The Stony Lake Market has very friendly and helpful staff. It's very cute inside and has many unique items. The Market has a great selection of gluten-free foods!!! Which is great!!Thank you!

closes before closing time every time I've been there at least 10 to 12 times very inconvenient. then when open have to wait forever for someone to come up front terrible terrible service.....

The same customer service comments and this owner not knowing their market/demographic seems to be resonating across social media. I was told this owner attempted to “help run” another company, something to do with planes. Sounds like that didn’t go so well and now the company is being sold. Customer service all around is terrible!

This used to be the spot for EVERYTHING. Now It's just junk. The hardware store down the road does have more. The attitude of the new owners is abhorrent. Responding to customers in the comments telling them to shop somewhere else proves that. They do not know their target market. To be honest, I'm not even sure there is a market for their selection of products.Don't take my word for it! They already told us to shop somewhere else. The drive to Hart or Shelby is well worth it anyways.

First review of the NEW Stony Lake Market! I added the business here on Google maps and am proud to have shopped with them on opening day ordering wine, snacks and all kinds of stuff. We need to help each other out!

We really want to support this store, but they refuse to wear masks, even while serving food. We’ve asked the owner and he says he has and does comply but that is not true. We saw him enter the store twice without a mask and only one employee had a mask. Last night no one had a mask including the young man serving food. I hope and pray that they begin to care more about the community that they want to profit from.
