Anytime that you were going on a road trip stopping here first they look over your vehicle and let you know if there’s anything that you need to worry about for your trip! Think about Shelby Auto Care as your dealership alternative! I’ve taken my last three vehicles to John and would recommend them to anyone lastly, the price is very affordable! So affordable that I am even able to tip my mechanic with the money that I have left over that other shops might have charged.

Do not go here ,,,the 5 star reviews must be fake, John is not a honest guy he lied to me every day for 4 months my car was there in the parking lot siting in one spot , he would say it should be done today and when I call them at the end of the day he would say tomorrow morning,,, when tomorrow morning was over he would say it will be done today and they would say this everyday for 4 months , his wife that works at the front desk and mechanics that work there are all in on it together, i have spoken to all of them too multiple times ,,, they would say we put in a used part but it failed and then he would say I put in a new part but still leaks but that was a lie because I live near by walking distance and the car wasn't moved and would be in same spot with the same soda can in front of the tire , when I told him the car doesn't look like it ever moved since I brought it in and air in tires were low he then later moved it 2 spots down, they lied to us every day ,he would say something like I can't find a small seal I need ,he would even say I drove it around and looks good just still has a small leak it should be done tonight, they would make up all kinds of things till i called them one day an told him that I'm getting my car out of there today and he got angry using loud voice ,,,when I got there waiting for tow truck John said I put the old part back in , even though he didn't have time the car was in the exact same spot battery dead they wouldn't even lock my doors at night the fob wasn't working,, anyways that's just some of what happened, I took my car somewhere else and they fixed it the next day, I seen a cousin there and told him the story that my car was sitting at Shelby Auto Care for 4 months he told me that they kept his mom's car for 9 months, I talked to shelby auto care neighbors and they said alot of customers were having problems with them and even told me that one day a lady didn't want to leave till her car gets done and waited till 4am for her car ,,,they are fake, good liars , go anywhere else but don't go here Trust me

Stay far away from this place. Had my car there for more than 4 months and still not done. These people are nothing but b.s. lies and doesn't pick up calls or return calls.

Need an exhaust repair urgently after hitting something in the road on my way to work. They were very busy but still got me in and let me know exactly what needed to be fixed before I left. Great communication, great service, and great prices.

Exceptional service from John and the team at Shelby Auto Care! Our 2017 Dodge Caravan, crucial for transporting our special needs daughter, had a sudden issue.
Despite our urgency, John sympathized with our situation, prioritized our van, and had it back to us in under 24 hours. The quick diagnosis, battery replacement, and exhaust repairs showcased their expertise and genuine care.

So my truck 1500 2013 been in the shop for six weeks going on seven you join snapped off had a tote over there they told me we’re gonna save at least $1000I end up paying on $1349 which it’s OK the more to the story is you’ve taken for a long time to get it repaired back to your customers every time we called oh we stepped out of the office. Oh, he’s not here having me waited. and they were supposed to fix a few other things that never repaired it never weld it. I can go on on in detailed. It’s sad how you try to help a local business I don’t care about the money Don’t care about I care about giving my car on the time fixed not still having problems with it they promised me within the week. They’re a bunch of liars

Great auto repair shop in Macomb.
This is my third time using them to repair my vehicles (Dodge Durango and Mazda, six). Each time I’ve had a great experience. But what I like about them is that they are great at communicating what the problem is, they never try to upsell me. The reason I keep coming back is that they actually listen to me, they want to fully understand the problem before they take your vehicle. I’m also happy that there’s never any surprise billing. If Anything does change, they always call and make sure I’m onboard with whatever they are doing. I would highly recommend them.

Would recommend this place as John and his crew is extremely knowledgeable and reasonable. Its hard to find sometimes a good person to work on your car whom you can trust and he is one among them. (him and one more is in my list)
