The machines are in excellent condition and the facilities are clean including the locker rooms. This company is great for the hardcore/serious fitness people and even for the ones who only do light workouts on the treadmill such as myself.

Dude up front with the glasses is kinda short and not super friendly. The gym is massive and has a ton to offer from cardio to weight lifting. I'm impressed. But a week pass was 45 bucks. That is the only thing that sucks. I'm in town for just a week and needed a gym. Better than that garbage PF. I'd come back.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Filthiest gym in the area for sure. Never cleaned and dusty as hell! The employees have horrible attitude. Especially this tall white boy, he should be fired immediately.

I’ve been coming here for around 5 years now, this is my home gym“@Kathy Brown” - I had secondhand embarrassment after reading what they said. I know exactly who did this. The vibes have been immaculate since he left. He was a creep who would distract me along with multiple other women during our workouts and would hog benches and dumbbells simultaneously. Not only that, but he was a huge slammer who started beef with multiple people. His roid rage was apparent and is reflected in his review. Clearly his ego is much bigger than his intellect.Don’t let the negative comments from random names too scared to show their real identity deter you. Nick has been nothing but professional and is very knowledgeable in his craft. This facility is great, although I do wish that some of the equipment could get updated - the people who come here are wonderful. As a woman, I’ve never felt uncomfortable being around the men in the dumbbell section (other than “Kathy Brown”)

I joined this with the idea that you were encouraged to lift heavy it turns it’s exactly the opposite if you plan on coming to this gym during normal business hours and don’t plan on training with the trainer and manager nick you will be banned. From the the very beginning nick created fake senecios he claimed I shouldered him coming out of the locker room and said “do you have a problem” which never happened. Nick repeatedly made me feel uncomfortable and went out of his way to try starting conversations with me. If your goal is to get jacked DO NOT come to this gym.

Was banned out of nowhere! If you are able to bench more than 225 lbs this is not the gym for you. The trainer nick sent multiple emails to corporate to get me banned. Apparently it is bad for his business to have people that are substantially larger than him training in the gym. Unfortunately not everyone can be 6’4” 265lbs lean no matter how much gear you do nick you will never be as big or as strong as me. I actually consider it as compliment that my size made you feel so insecure that you felt you needed me banned.

I went to powerhouse as a client of a physical trainer. Upon making the transition, not only was the establishment super sloppy with the steps that need to be taken to do so, but their front desk was VERY uneducated on the processes. I should’ve taken this as a red flag, but decided to proceed based on my physical trainer beingone of the best! Not once did anyone tell me that what I was signing up for was beyond my trainer. They basically con you into signing up for their establishment so that you can work with your trainer. No problem EXCEPT when your trainer leaves and you don’t return they still drain your account. This wouldn’t be an issue if they would have explained what they were making meDo, but no one did. When calling about cancellation and reimbursement notOnly did the higher up admit to their lack of knowledge of the transition process but continued to admit her front desk wasn’t properly fit for that transaction AND that she remembers how sloppy the sign up was for all my trainers clients. Even admitting fault in basically blind sighting clientele there was NO refunds or reimbursement. No compensation of any form. So this establishment got over 300$ of myMoney with records showing I didn’t abuse using the establishment after my trainer left etc (ps my trainer had to move due to her husbands job out of state, so again out of my hands)My advice is, talk to hirer ups because their staff isn’t trained at all they are young and do not explain anything to incoming clientele. I am very disappointed in the “I’mSorry” approach. These gyms make so much money and even admit fault in their court but definitely had no intentions of making it right.

Good spot for people who actually like to workout. Dumbbells go as high as you need them, plenty of machines for any workout. This place is no frills for sure, dated and a little dusty but it gets the job done. Would prefer this over a huge commercial gym where people spend their time taking pictures and huddling in a group. Could use some updating (why it got 4 stars instead of 5)

Great gym but lately they dont enforce the rules for all. Young guns in here using chalk, gym bags all over the floor to trip on, yelling as if it helps a real athlete to lift more....
