My wife and I moved to Waterford, MI from Oregon in November 2023. We found a house we loved but had been built in 1990 and had never been updated. The kitchen was the major disaster - counter top stove in an island that was awkward to move around (complicated by a load bearing wall that that blocked the kitchen from the dining area. Corner sink and cupboards that were well make but poorly placed made cooking less than fun.
Enter Nu Way who had been recommended by another family member after a bathroom remodel. Nu Way gave us a design based on what what important to us and that fit our aesthetic. Then we were given a schedule of the who, how and when the work would proceed. And because they didn't begin until they had all the key materials, there was no stop and go or waiting for weeks for work to proceed.
Every worker who showed up was a craftsman - plumbing, electrical, tile, cabinetry...artists who knew their craft (plus a joy to talk to).
I'm sure there are less expensive alternatives to NU Way, but I doubt there are more competent quality driven craftspeople out there who take such pride in their work.

This is the 3rd room Nu-Way has renovated for me. All around great company to work with! Rachelle M understands the assignment! She listens to you and then interprets your vision. All the crews were professional and friendly. Kudos to Wagner Enterprises, a father daughter drywall team. They don’t sand, they scrape. The old way! We ran into a couple of unexpected “issues” that challenged the plumbers creativity. Steve, has my kind of OCD! Tile has to be perfect! The good news, it is! Karen C sends a very detailed itinerary and everyone knows it! Thank-you Nu-Way.

We had out bathroom redone by this company 2 years ago and it started falling apart right away. We've had the floor replaced because it leaked into our ceiling the water spout fell off the wall. After 1 month the shower door was all out of line we had to take it off and fix it ourselves. Now today I have another guy here regrouting the floor because that started leaking. All in 2 years. I'd really think before settling with this company

The customer service is terrible they didn't seem to be interested in helping me. I went there trying to find a sink in the original color, but they only had white or off white. I only went there because I had special ordered original colors in the past. Then they wanted to sell me a cabinet, I seemed to be the "a big joke" to the three men.

I walked in with my family today just to browse. There were a few women behind the counter who didn't seem to be interested in even saying a simple "hello, we'll be with you shortly'. We walked around for a bit about 10 minutes before someone finally approached us. Which was ok because we actually went to check out the showroom and quality of cabinets. He was pleasant enough but really wanted to know our budget before he wasted his time with us. He didn't even try and sell us on their products quality or anything....wanted us to commit to 400 dollar estimate right away. Then when I mentioned I did not have 50,000 to spend on the kitchen he gave us his card and walked away....here's the thing maybe I do, maybe I don't either way I'm not dropping that kind of cash without information about your particular cabinets.....try selling it to me before you judge us. ??♀️Just a thought ?

If you are planning to renovate your kitchen, no need to look further than Nu way. When Laura and Steve made their initial visit to our home, I felt confident in their knowledge and design ideas. Laura’s design presentation was outstanding. The entire team at Nu way are professional, friendly, efficient and detail oriented. They carry high quality material and fixtures. Loved having a weekly schedule of project to be worked on. The staff always took the time to answer any questions we had. The entire project ran smoothly and absolutely love our new kitchen. Wouldn’t change a thing. Stunning!!! Thank you Nu way!

Really happy with the customer service here. I spoke to them about doing a bathroom remodel and the customer service person walked me through what the process looks like and alleviated a lot of confusion. She is going above and beyond and is looking into getting a rough estimate which is exactly what I need.
