Good place. A bit too busy to answer questions, however a good place to find deals.

Had a very bad experience this morning. Was very happy and proud to be dropping off a $2000 chandelier. Was met at donation door by a dark-haired young lady who started lecturing me about dumping? And pulled out her phone said she was going to take a picture of my license plate and call police??? I said OK and went to pick up my chandelier. The young lady kept lecturing threatening to call the cops and quite frankly would not stop giving me a hard time. I told her to have a wonderful day she gave me the middle finger. The store’s reply contains several lies! I NEVER used any choice words! I NEVER said it’s your problem now! I immediately picked my donation and left, while employee kept chirping and threatening! Why would you reply with lies? Why not ignore post? “Or” here’s a thought… apology???? Like; We see you tried to leave a donation and sorry our employee gave you a hard time and a middle finger.

They think the stuff they're selling is valuable when it's all donated and outdated. Wayyyy over-priced900 for a set of kitchen cabinets? Insane. I can buy them new for that price.

Why do they not provide rest room for customers. Where does the law stand on this..I was told that it's policy of the store...Really..so much for customer care...

If you want to donate? Great .But pay the same amount and get new from a big box store

Feels overpriced and underwhelming, to be honest. I feel like my donation and purchases are better spent at the Salvation Army or other local thrift stores.

Prices are outrageous. I went to check out this store for the first time and was floored at the prices of things. Used soft close cabinet uppers for $200 a piece? I can literally go to lowes and buy them new for that price. Paneled, unframed doors for $100. Ancient microwaves for $50-100. They need a new pricer. No wonder why they can’t accept new donations. They can’t move what they have charging higher than retail on used items.

Thanks for the great deals & fair prices , I'll be back, very soon. If you need it this place (about 95% of the time), this place will have it . I'm glad my brother talked me into coming with him and he found everything he was looking for. Thanks again. The Winfield's

RUDE AND CLUELESS WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE.On Dec 28 before one storm of many, I spent over $700 cash for tiles and a chest. I loaded everything I could in the van, but could not fit the chest. I was told that they would put the chest in the area where you load. I return yesterday to find the chest was still in the exact same spot as I left it, but the sale tag was removed! I overheard someone being asked to sign something and was given the explanation that if you don't pick up your item in three days, your money is considered a donation. I signed no such document, was told in fact that it would be moved for me. Two of the men there remembered me, the woman, Ericia was not there, but she took it upon herself to tell me that I would not get my chest, to leave the store, rules are rules. I have spent thousands of dollars at Habitat. This will likely be the last time they will get any of my business at that store. I wish I could leave a Zero or - 5 because they have no clue how to treat customers. I had a totally different and pleasant experience with a used appliance place that I picked up an item just minutes before! He will get more of my business.

I've been wanting to visit this store for a couple years. I thought it was a new items construction extras type of store. It's really not. It's a resale shop that is not organized and priced way too high for used items. The store is dirty and frankly a safety hazard. The Salvation Army next door is far more organized and clean for used item shopping.

I love habitat. You just never know what you'll find there. It's always a surprise. You may go away empty handed but not often.

Sadly the lady who runs the Van Dyke Utica location is a thief. People give these donations in hopes that they will make money from them to help people. She is just trying to steal from people. I went in there a couple of years ago and bought a nice dresser for 50.00 that was fair needed a little love. Now if you go in this store, she has broken items that she is asking hundreds of dollars for, this is not retail! These are not new items. When you have a light fixture that has been there awhile, and you were asking 10 dollars for it and now it is 75.00 that is just wrong. I have donated so many items here, but now myself and several others that donate here do not want to anymore. I just hope the people who are counting on this do not lose out because of her greed

Great shopping. Recycle, reduce, reuse, and help people, it's a win. When you walk the isles you can get ideas for what you have and can use to freshen up your place.

This place is a joke . Prices are double of what you would pay for new at Menards , Lowes or Home Depot . A used interior door was $100 . And they wanted $175 for a used bathroom vanity and sink . I don't think so .
