OMG! The most beautiful gym I've ever been to. Very upscale! So many machines I've never seen. They have a nice Cafe with yummy, healthy menu. They have their own Spa and hair salon but, haven't been there.
When done with your work out everything is provided in the shower such as Shower gel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair dryer, Body Lotion, Hair spray, Hair gel, Razors, Cotton balls, Qtips....Wow! Just bring you and hairbrush ☺ Love It!

I’ve had a very bad experience the way they treat people over there And the way they treated my son
Very disrespectful people Very racist unorganized.
Sauna and Jacuzzi barely works and always broke and they don’t fix them fast.
Equipments always taken and always waiting to work out
Probably the worst staff I’ve ever seen.
Worst Pickleball staff and they don’t know how to run nothing!

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Lifetime Fitness, specifically involving two staff members, Eileen and Kayla, at the Pickleball courts. It appears that they are unfairly targeting Chaldean members, including myself and others in my community, by asking us to leave the courts without giving valid reasons. Meanwhile, other groups who are not Chaldean are participating in the same activities and are allowed to stay even after arguing, fighting, and causing disturbance at the courts.
This kind of inconsistent treatment feels discriminatory and unprofessional. All members should be treated with fairness and respect, I've had a membership with lifetime for over 5 years and never had this issue... until Eileen and Kayla took charge. I hope Lifetime Fitness takes this issue seriously and addresses it promptly so that everyone can enjoy their facilities equally.

GO TO THE EDGE FITNESS it's right next door and only cost $10 a month!!!!!
The sauna has been malfunctioning for YEARS every other Lifetime Location has a properly functioning sauna. Why doesn't Lifetime fix the sauna at its Shelby Township location??? Every member knows the Shelby Township sauna does not heat up properly but the staff doesn't know ? Everytime you tell staff they just look at you like they haven't been told it before. Even though EVERYONE talks about it!

Worst management ever I call the manager neil they banned me for no reason and I had to wait 2 weeks to talk to him and I call him no answer everyone at the front desk is respectful but the management team is just straight garbage!

Overall… great gym. Great gym program teachers (shout out to Kyrstyn and Devane!), great facilities, great staff within the child center (shout out to Evan!). The biggest issue with this location is the overall manager of the aquatics/kids center. For this particular part of the club, communication is scattered or non-existent. They randomly, at this location alone , decided to no longer allow children in the outdoor pool… again, no communication. The swim lessons we signed up for were decent, but we had 3 different teachers in a short period so inconsistent lessons and little progress. The birthday party workers were so sweet, but again, the manager didn’t share what the plan was or with any supplies. It was just a messy experience. The rest of the club is excellent, though!

The staff at the pool could be utterly rude and Manipulative .disregarding how much you spending on your membership to have quality time with your kids, they would easily ruin your day.. when I wasn't happy about it, they wouldn't care less.. thinking my life based on this fitness club(moron) , we better off where we at now and saved my self a fortune.

Been a member since 2008, refuse to change my membership to another location/gym because of the atmosphere and my trainer Liam K. Helps me achieve my long and short term goals and helps keep me motivated.

Been going to this gym for a long time and I absolutely love all the trainers especially Liam King. He is the most professional, non-confrontational and respectful young man. I love the fact that he’s a great mentor to my boys.

I have been a member since 2016 but am close to cancelling my membership due to the outrageous increases in price every year. I just came with my husband which I’m allowed 2 free guests every 60 days but they stated during this week due to increase in pool usage it’s an additional $40. I let the front desk know we were just coming to workout and not use the pool. I also did not receive any communication regarding this update via email or in the lifetime app. The fees and rules seem to always change to benefit them when you come into the gym with no notice

My family and I have been lifetime members on and off since 2016. However, since joining the Shelby location I feel at home! It is like the old show Cheers, everyone wants to go where everyone knows their name. Whoever is responsible for hiring and training deserve kudos, there is a great group of people working here.
