Was out of state and couldn’t use my credit card. Called and Debbie said it was no longer good and that a new card was issued. Debbie said they sent numerous emails and called. I checked all my incoming emails and phone calls and NOTHING was sent. I only have that one credit card and asked if she could fedex me a new card. No she said we don’t do that. I asked what was I supposed to do and she said sorry we can’t do anything. ??????????????? Thank goodness my husband took care of the expenses. Extremely frustrating and very unhelpful in a stressful situation.. shame on you Debbie.

Purchased an enclosed trailer in 2019, just paid off and purchased a larger trailer with LQ. I had excellent service on our loan and no extra hoops on the purchase of another one. Highly recommend this credit union

I would recommend this alliance credit union a Shelby branch to anybody that lives out that way Julia help me outstanding job I actually enjoyed my time I felt comfortable relaxed and all the questions were answered they really made me feel good and thank you for helping with all my needs felt like family

Whole staff is super personable, like a second family here! I’m pretty new to the banking world but the staff here has gone above and beyond to make sure my needs are always met. A special thanks to Margie for helping me get my first car AND first house all by myself and for answering all of my many, many questions at any time of the day. Could not have done it without them❤️

Alliance was recommended by my neighbor. He stated the rates here were low when compared to other institutions. He spoke so highly of them. I even went as far as opening an account for my daughter. The rates here were good and I was signed up quickly, in the system within an hour, and my credit was pulled quickly. Everything seemed to go well until it didn't. I acquired an auto refinance and a personal loan. The personal loan was to pay some of my credit cards off, but I still wanted some cash left over. I was told I was approved for $4,500 at 8.9% 4 years monthly payments of $111. However, I have to close out 5 credit cards. After a week back and forth. I picked 5 credit cards to close out, which left $800. When I was told everything was good I was the happiest person. I remember having a big smile.I was told 3 times I was about to cash out. I would be getting a email to sign the documents. Instead I got a call saying the underwriter changed her mind and my loan was denied. I was told AFTER EVERYTHING WAS FINAL I WASN'T APPROVED!! I was so upset. I was livid! No one can answer my questions. How was I just approved for 4,500 then down to 3,649? Within 5 mins. I called another bank location and thought maybe I would get some answers. Well all I got from Kristy I believe her name is that the underwriter looked at it twice and it's what it is and there won't be any changes. Not going back to the underwriter. No one called to tell me where these other amounts came from. This is ridiculous.Meanwhile. when I went to get my title they had already stamped my title without me even signing loan papers! Not to mention all of the times I talk to them they didn't mention they already stamped my title! Now, I have to get a new title issued and for the inconvenience they give me a gift card. I don't care about the gift card, I want the loans I originally applied for.In addition, there isn't anyone I can speak to who knows their job. I wanted to speak to the underwriter supervisor. Someone needs to be aware of this situation. I keep getting transferred back and forth to the same people in that branch, who don't know anything, and they keep on feeding me miscommunication. Alliance got my hopes up and then the underwriter, Cindy, changed her mind at the last minute. When we did talk the rep(s) were always apologizing for the underwriting. I have called the person above the branch Manager who is the regional manager and left a few messages requesting a phone call back and still haven't received a return call! I feel as if my concerns aren't important to him! I never experienced this poor of miscommunication from a credit union like this ever. The Branch Manager and everyone in the branch office and especially the underwriter Cindy should get retrained, all I was getting was 'sorry' for the miscommunication, how about trying to fix your miscommunications, and try to get the bottom of where the miscommunication came from. They were apologizing over and over again and they were apologizing to me every time we talked.This experience was very tough, sad, scary, frustrating, misleading, lacked communication, lacked experience and expertise, felt like I was in a movie, and higher up managers lacked concern of my issues.I cannot recommend this place. I had my daughter close her account out.I decided to go somewhere elsewhere, because I couldn't get answers. I was blessed to get everything done the right way with Union Bank within one day. I feel this was a nightmare and no one should go through all this as a new member. This has been my experience with this credit union, one I won’t ever forget!

Don’t waste your time with the checking account that pay 3% has to be a credit but alway come out a debit what a scam no stars would be appropriate. Manager was no help they tell u it’s the merchant fault it goes in as a debit . It is AllianceCCU what kind of card requires no pin and u get to guess if it’s debit or credit . What a junk product

We worked with Julia, Margi and Andrea for 2 loans, a checking and our daughters savings account. They were above and beyond helpful, informative and the best experience with a credit union or bank branch. Very very happy here.Always offered beverages and made sure we agreed with what steps to move forward with.So good with kids and making sure we made all the right choices.Another random bonus, Branch has a warm modern design to it.
