I purchased my vehicle from Affordable Auto a couple of years ago. I take it there for all of my oil changes and tire rotations. I have only needed minor repairs and they have taken such good care of my vehicle. They have been wonderful! They are reasonably priced and so transparent and honest.

I recently had a diagnostic done here. They did not notice that the headlights were out. That seems like something that should have been noticed. After I returned home and went to check the oil, I found an "extra" dip stick in my engine area, I was not able to figure out where it came from. When I went to another shop to check about the headlights, a tall man helped me to locate the transmission fluid area that the dipstick belonged to. I have also been told that the $3,000+ suggested work is not all necessary, I was told I should share this information. The people were all very pleasant otherwise ??

We are sitting on the side of the road for a second time because the person working on our flat tire opted to patch it instead of replacing it like he had originally intended. I wasn’t sure why he made that choice at the time, but I trusted him because he is a mechanic and I am not. That was a bad choice on my part, and so was using this shop.

I have been taking my vehicles here for over 10 years now and they never disappoint. In a world of crooked grifters its nice to be able to trust that you will have your vehicle fixed for a reasonable price without a wait.

Was our main mechanic for 7 years we have 3 vehicles we have serviced at affordable auto but in the last 6 months things have changed we get a quote for needed work and it will change 3 times they never pushed repairs before but they let you know what needed to be done now they push repairs and did I mention the quotes on work constantly change and the new manager needs some training on how to treat repeat customers so not only did they just lose 1 vehicle they lost 3 I'll take my business elsewhere ....

Just want to show my appreciation for this shop. As I was driving through the Shelby area I noticed an odd noise coming from under my car. Turns out the shop in Grand Rapids that just changed my oil this morning didn't screw the skid plate back on and it was dragging on the ground. They squeezed me in right away and charged me a very reasonable price to button it back on with very little delay, So thank you!
