Such a wonderful place to learn traditional skills! The property is gorgeous, and the instructors are great. Whether it be foraging, canning, or blacksmithing, they have it all!

What an amazing experience! My husband and I brought our camper and spent the weekend at Tillers. He took a blacksmithing class and I learned broom making. Everybody staff, students and instructors, was friendly, helpful and a wealth of knowledge. We will definitely be back.

About Tillers International
Tillers International teaches historic practical skills for personal, professional, and international development. We specialize in teaching people about draft animals, blacksmithing, woodworking, timber framing, coopering, and other skills common in the days before people had easy access to machines, electricity, or other forms of power. In the U.S., most people take the classes because the skills align with an interest or hobby the person may have. Internationally, however, in countries where small-scale farmers don't have access to power tools, tractors, or other resources, our classes help farmers work more efficiently with the goal of improving crop yields and better providing for their communities.
