Thank you to Dr. Paula, all doctors and entire staff. My sweet boy is sleeping peacefully on the couch now after his surgery (he and his sister have steps for the couch and the bed, so not to worry - no jumping is going on. You probably already knew he is “spoiled.” I just call it extra love.) I know he has a ways to go to heal, but for this moment, he is here and that makes me so so grateful. Thank you for your amazing empathy and care. This dude is my best buddy. ??

We have left Schoolcraft Veterinary clinic. We had to wait an hour in the car just to be seen for routine vaccinations. We have been coming here for many years and have experienced very long wait times in the past. Was treated very poorly by veterinarian. I can say the care my pet received and the treatment by the staff was not worth the wait.

Have been a client for over 30 years. Always welcoming & caring and explain treatment, etc. Had to have a dog euthanized yesterday & they were compassionate & dignified in the process.

I brought my 14 year old dog here who had been quite sick. He had quit eating and was often urinating where he laid. His back legs had somewhat failed him and we had finally reconciled ourselves with the fact that the most compassionate thing to do was to say goodbye to him. Paula started by examining his neck by wrenching on it to the point where he yelped in pain. She then proceeded to ask if he had ingested any marijuana, to which I replied "no, we don't use marijuana in my household". She then went on for minutes explaining what marijuana does to the dog. When she had his urine tested and returned him to the room he peed on the floor and was unsteady on his feet. Paula returned and told me that she refused to euthanize my dog. I told her that I was having one of the worst days of my life and I had expected a little compassion, not to be made to feel guilty over an already excruciating decision. She stepped out and returned to tell me I could take my dog and leave. I would not expect that lack of professionalism in any occupation, but was appalled at complete lack of empathy. I will never be back.

I had gone about a year ago. And I LOVED my experience. I also get text updates about my girl Lucy. And she’s still happy and healthy thankfully to Schoolcraft Vet. They didn’t take too long to check on Lucy and get her settled in before her surgery. Then when we picked her up in the morning it was quick and easy. Along with the wait to drop her off. It didn’t take too long and the vet was in within a few minutes for her shots. I’d absolutely trust them with my cat overnight multiple times if needed. Definitely will be bringing other pets here as well

they have been extremely rude during this pandemic and accused my 10 year old pug of biting someone but didnt tell me when it actually happened. they had us waiting 2 hours in their parking lot only to charge a ridiculous amount of money for the service rendered. the girls at the desk hung up on me twice. they also almost killed my mom's German shepherd. they treated her for allergies when in fact she has multiple skin infections and is now in kidney failure. my mom switched vets and her dog is now in recovery and gaining back weight no thanks the schoolcraft vet. they need to work on customer service and not being condescending to people who just want to take care of and help their pets.

I really respect the procedures they've put in place here to keep their staff and customers safe. I'm realizing right now how little life I have these days, as this is my second time reviewing my vet since the onset of Covid-19. Also, my pets get way better health care than I do! Here's how things work at the moment: When you arrive at your scheduled appointment time, you call the office and let them know you are there and what parking spot number you are in. They send somebody to come out and talk to you and grab your pet, You stay in the car while your pet has its appointment, they bring your pet back to you, and then any further discussion with the veterinarian and dealing with payment is done by phone. I wish more businesses were able to effectively enforce mask requirements and other protocols designed to keep both staff members and customers safe. Because the phone is so regularly being used for more things than just setting appointments, expect to get a "can you hold?" response when you call in. I've found I'm typically on hold 1 to 5 minutes. Cross you fingers for our little Loki bouncing back quickly from his ear infection.

I found a lump on my Great Dane’s leg during the coronavirus time which ended up being a cancerous tumor. They had him in for an appointment and surgery within the same week. With having less staff and doing everything over the phone (no one being allowed in the building) I was SO thankful for all their hard work and running in and out of the building to relay information and animals. All staff is awesome!!

The staff and doctors are very caring and knowledgeable. We have taken our dogs there for 30 years, most recently, our little king, Elvis. We could not be more pleased with their service. Today they were again, caring, and very understanding, making an incredibly difficult decision a little easier. -Thank you so much!

I do not recommend Schoolcraft veterinary clinic at all as they are very unprofessional, are not very hygienic, and even though you have a scheduled timeslot you end up waiting in the lobby for at least an hour. The doctors are not very knowledgeable, and I had a very bad experience there with Dr. Tracey and will NEVER return back. You get what you pay for!

Very few workers here who actually care about the animals they are treating. I've had multiple bad experiences here including having the phone hung up on me and the vet physically hurting my dogs leg and brushing it off. The vets only seem to care about prescribing as much as they can and not about the animals true needs. 0/5 DO NOT waste your time here.

has gone down hill since my parents took their animals there... its a cheap vet and i guess you get what you pay for... for cats they are wonderful but not so much for dogs. when we had to put our family dog down after 16 years, they were rude and didnt show much compassion, if you dont want to spend a whole lot its a great vet. but i was looking for someone to connect with my animal and create a good relationship. i have a cat who is special needs and she needs to be seen quite a bit and its just wasnt a good fit.
