This is a fun store with some really unique and wonderful vintage items. Everything is nicely displayed. I stopped in at the end of the day when they were really busy with a fundraising event that was about to start, but still everyone was so helpful and nice in helping me get my things out to the Jeep. Couldn't ask for more! I live 2 hours away and it is well worth the drive.

Great place to shop!! Very knowledgeable owner! Very cool & eclectic items (prices are very reasonable). Also, the owner does staging too. Full disclosure: owner staged (designed my condo) & I was extremely happy with the final outcome that I decided not to list it.

We've purchased many pieces from Mary Beth over the years. She's lovely as is her sales associate (her dog, Kevin!)

The owner was very nice to me when I purchased a dresser there about six months ago. She helped put me in touch with somebody who could deliver it to me in Chicago and was quite reasonable. I love their furniture

I visited this amazing shop on a total fluke last week and fell in love! The store owner carries gorgeous one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture and so much more. I literally wanted to buy everything in the store! I read the other reviews that people have left about the store owner's pricing and behavior and I have to say that my experience and thoughts are the opposite of the negative ones. First, I thought the pricing was reasonable. Sure it could be considered on the pricey-ish side but when considering you would be getting a high-quality, upcycled and unique piece then the price fits! I was not bothered by the pricing on anything in the store. Everything seemed like the pricing was appropriate. This is a boutique not a "thrift store" as one reviewer put it. Secondly, I thought the owner was just lovely. My bf and I wandered in to this shop not knowing anything about it. Chatted with the owner (who also designs and upcycles most of the pieces in her store). She was VERY knowledgeable about everything in her store from where it came from to how she preserved wood and treated metal. My experience was lovely and I will be recommending this shop to my friends as well as returning to *hopefully* buy one of her gorgeous refurbished tables.

She threatened to cut my child's finger off in her basement dungeon if he touched anything in the store. I would have wound up in jail this afternoon had she not shut her mouth. YOU MADE A THREAT TO MY CHILD--you are lucky all you got from me was a little aggressive sarcasm. It's one thing to be nervous about children potentially breaking things in your shop (even though this is basically a glorified thrift store) but it's another thing to make a threat to a child. It's the kind of thing that can get you into some serious trouble. Here's a tip for you--if you aren't able to deal with humans you may want to choose a different business endeavor. Based on my experience and the other yelp reviews, customer service is CLEARLY not your strong point.

I love Go Fish! If you're rambling through southwestern Michigan/Harbert Country it's a fun place to stop and shop. When you walk through the door there is a good chance you'll be greeted by Mabel - the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. The home decor isn't like anything you'll find in the area - all repurposed by the owner - who has a keen eye for unusual and eclectic combinations that really work! I appreciate that she doesn't (generally) negotiate prices. (I find it odd that other local shops offer a 10% discount for cash or check - - gee -- then can I assume they mark things up to account for this "discount"?) And I've rated the Price Range as "moderate" because I don't consider it expensive given the amount of work I'm sure goes in to these unique pieces. I also like that Go Fish will occasionally host work by a local artist and throw an opening. It's a good time to mix and mingle with the artist and gain insight to their work. Be sure to say hi to Mabel for me if you stop by!!!

Well dang if i could give minus stars I would. This owner has been harrassing me ever since I left a review of her shop over a year ago. Finally reported her to Yelp. Very disappointed in the behavior and as a woman business owner myself, very appalled. By reading the other real reviews, I figured out, I'm not the only one who gets her wrath. Bless her heart.

This resale store has cute home goods and furniture. The prices are extremely high and the owner is one of the rudest people I have encountered. She knows very little about her pieces and yelled at me for 5 minutes when I offered a reasonable price for a table (apparently it's against her store policy to negotiate) she was completely out of line and belittled me in front other customers. Yikes!!!

The owner is pure evil. Only go into this store if you want to see Satan in person. She hates everybody!!! She is incredibly rude and has no idea how to run a business.

The store is unique and has some interesting pieces that would be a wonderful addition to anyone's home nestled in an adorable town... but the owner's brash attitude and rude behavior will keep me from ever purchasing anything for myself.

Fun, store to explore. Interesting and unusual furniture and accessories and reasonably priced. (Unlike Melanie M. and Elyse H. I've actually been to both this store and its previous location.)

Go Fish is a neat little shop in Sawyer, Michigan. As their tagline says, they offer items that are an "eclectic mix for the home." It's beautifully edited and beautifully arranged. Just across the pebbled drive from Sawyer's Garden Center, Go Fish had a fantastic selection of things for the home, including unique pieces of furniture and accessories, and a well-stocked pet section. Their prices are extremely reasonable and, if I lived closer and not in Houston, I would have bought at least one chest of drawers. When I'm next in Sawyer, I will definitely visit Go Fish. It's a little gem, for sure!
