The owners were delightful and welcoming. We bought a small picture and a little bunny. I want to return soon.

We were staying at a house nearby and stopped in to see their sculptures. Martha greeted us and said viewing is by appointment only. With our charm and Martha’s kindness we toured the studio. The pieces on display were spectacular and we ended up purchasing a whimsical sculpture of a dog with miniature bones in iron with a red rust finish. Martha also has a foundation for dog rescues and we bought 2 beautiful key chains. If in the area call for an appointment and treat your eyes to creative beauty. Fritz Olsen. PS Martha also has a studio so make sure you visit her studio as well.

I just read the review from one star audrey...The response from Fritz was right on point. It looks like she only gives one star to anyone she meets on a bad day....I grew up in St. Joe. We were amazed by the summer visitors from Chicagoland. Im trying to be polite. This studio in the woods is incredible. I would not be surprised if Martha was baking cookies for visitors.Fritz's work is recognized world wide. An incredible sculptor. A beautiful studio. The nicest people you could ever meet. They both have much more patience in dealing with visitors than I would.I stopped here by accident years ago. I saw a large sculpture in the woods in the middle of nowhere. The trail through the woods led to their studio.I was very surprised to find such talented people hiding in the forest near the beach.. Fortunately for me I was able to acquire two beautiful statues that I cherish. A wonderful place to visit.
