This is a great club with welcoming people. Kate was a great bartender. Ship shots when freighters go through or maybe even a ghost ship!

The food was really good. It was great that the VFW allows nonmilitary a chance to support the men and women who have fought for this country. All proceeds support veterans. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Open for breakfast from 8am to 2pm on Sundays with all proceeds going to local veterans causes. I’ll have more when I’m done eating.Breakfast at the VFW has a pretty good ring to it. And it is well worth a visit on Sunday mornings. I had the farmers omelet with sourdough toast, coffee, and orange/cranberry juice. The omelet and toast was very good, the coffee was hot and filled before I could get that last sip. The orange/cranberry juice was a special request and greatly appreciated! It was a good solid breakfast. All proceeds go to support local veteran causes. My wife had one of the specials, a potato omelet, and though omelets aren't her thing, she really liked it. It was our first time and we got there before the rush so I stayed on script. Next time I'll explore the menu/specials and perhaps go off script a bit. Everyone was very friendly and our server was very efficient as well. I can't wait until next Sunday! Parking wasn't a problem (I parked the street); I believe there may be parking in the back as well. Next time I'll get some pictures of the food (I was really hungry).
