“Update: Things seem to be turning around for the better here lately. Especially noteworthy is the recent changes made to the bakery. A new bakery manager has made all the difference in this department. Things that were old favorites are back again, and quality has improved exponentially. This is a good little store, sometimes a wee bit pricey, but worth it if you don't want to drive up the business spur to the big box stores. Last of the small grociers left in the downtown area. Nice, hometown store.”
“Close to home this metro feels like it has a nicer selection of foods compared to its great northern road location. they also have a garden section and had a perfect selection of roses and flowers. I was able to pick up a beautiful cake & flowers for my partners birthday. and prefer this location for easy meals for work. Staffs nice, stores clean. and more variety.”
“I see everyone is going cashierless...I generally only come for the odd sale. I do like to shop here for lunch items, like the little packages of end cuts from various luncheon meats, or even the hot-n-ready meals to go. They have a decent selection of salads and side dishes.”

“This little grocery store is a diamond in the ruff. They have great quality foods at an affordable and very decent price. They have well stocked shelves and the store is kept clean. The staff is one of the reasons why I continue to shop here. A few of their staff really stand out by going out of their way to provide excellent service and beyond. How many stores can you still go to where the staff hold the door for you and carry your groceries to your vehical and still smile? By going that extra mile and sincerely wanting to be of service to their customers made me a loyal customer. Another thing that makes this grocery store a wonderful shopping experience is the pizza department and deli, there you will find another outstanding staff member that not only makes the Soos best pizzas but also provides excellent service. The meat department has a great fresh selection of quality meats with amazing prices that even large chain stores cannot compete with. For these reasons I will continue to shop here again and again. “I was happy with my experience here. One of the only three locations in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Using their mobile app, I was able to find everything I needed in the store. Hopefully their business continues to grow in the upper peninsula of Michigan so that they can add more stories to other towns that need them. I find that they have very helpful customer service.”
