This is a follow up to a stay we had in June.
First off if mill pond realty handles numerous vacation rentals and seem to be very well organized my first question is why do they also need to use Airbnb to rent some of their properties.
Secondly the Airbnb description doesn’t match mill pond realty’s of what is and isn’t included at the property which led to confusion and disappointment on our part.
It seems that if the rental property includes a very nice pool that in all cases pool towels should be included especially if the pool is a feature that justifies a higher rent.
We were told when inquiring that there is no grill provided due to fire regulations even though all the other units had grills. We were then told that the fire regulations are different for owners than rental units. It turns out that we know an owner in the same complex that rents his unit out exclusively and he has a grill and told us that the only fire regulations is that the grill must be 10 feet from the building. Next time we will be renting from this owner.
We were told that there was no salt pepper or oil due to sanitation issues but the Airbnb description stated that there was these things so again confusion between Airbnb and mill pond realty as to what is and isn’t included.
Yes I was upset during our stay because this property was different than every other Airbnb I have stayed in and there have been many.
Mill pond realty wrote a very negative review that I was rude and demanding. All other Airbnb reviews about me are very positive.
My behavior was not good because we encountered so many issues during our very brief 4 day stay with my wife and granddaughters that I was constantly calling their office asking for help with our issues.
The unit itself was very nice and I said so. All the more reason why the issues clouded our stay were very unfortunate.
They won’t rent to me again nor I from them!
I felt the need to post this review weeks after our visit. It left a bad feeling for me.

We stayed in Dollybrook #7 while we were visiting family and the area. It was excellent. It was probably one of the nicest vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. It was clean, looked newly renovated, quite, and so much to do for the whole family. They have a huge pool, basketball court, volleyball and tether ball. We highly recommend this vacation spot! You won't regret it.

I stayed in Park side apartment in Saugatuck MI for a few days with my husband, granddaughter and her boyfriend. We booked through VRBO and Mill Pond Realty manages the property.
Check in was a breeze and the apartment was in the perfect location. We didn’t have to move our SUV until we checked out. We walked to everything. The weather was beautiful the entire time we were there. The apartment was clean and the queen bed was very comfortable. My granddaughter said the pullout sofa was fine but it’s a pullout sofa. They both slept good. We rented a Duffy boat and the kids swam in the cove. I highly recommend the sunset. Cruise aboard the Star of Saugatuck. It was wonderful. Both the boat rental and Star of Saugatuck are right around the corner. Shopping and restaurants are all within walking distant.
Everyone at Mill Pond Realty were very pleasant and answered all of our questions. The apartment has a window air conditioner in the bedroom that was super loud but on max cool. We turned it down and that took care of the problem. With the a/c running and ceiling fan in living room on, it was very comfortable throughout the apartment. Our entire experience was great!

We rented a large home for a family vacation that Mill Pond Realty manages and had a fantastic experience. The house was very clean, spacious, and accommodating. The photos and description of the property were exactly what we got. Will for sure be renting again from Mill Pond if we make it up to Saugatuck in the future.

Mill Pond was awesome to work with for our Saugatuck rental! They were easily available even on nights/weekends when booking. They gave us a great recommendation for a fishing charter. We stayed at two different properties, Coastal Cottage and Daisy Cottage and both were very nice. Check out process was not nearly as burdensome as when staying with other rental groups which we greatly appreciated. Easy check in and rental signing process. They also were kind enough to call and follow up and make sure we were doing well while there, though things were so nice we didn't need anything.

Saugatuck Lodge is a great place to stay for a large, multi-generational family. The large pool in the backyard was well used by the kids, while the adults also enjoyed the privacy and setup for playing games, conversing and ability to seat and feed everyone at once. You can also literally walk out the front door and be near to all the restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops or bars.
The hosts were very responsive to our needs and the house lacked nothing that was needed.

We have rented from Mill Pond Realty twice, so far, and they have treated us PERFECTLY both times. They do not just talk about great service, they actually provide it. Both years that we rented, we needed help with a couple of small things and they responded immediately, professionally, and with the kind of care you'd expect from a close family member. We could not receommend them more highly.

Mill Pond Realty and Rentals offers great customer service and represents lovely vacation homes. We will continue to work with Mill Pond when we visit MI. The Blue Ivy was a beautiful home in the best location. Our family loved it! Thank you Mill Pond and Blue Ivy owners.

We had a great stay at Chapmans Chapter! There were 8 adults, 1 baby and our dogs - it was a really relaxing and great time spent with family. We’re excited to use Mill Pond in the future!

Our cabin (Dollybrook #5) in Fenneville, MI was immaculate and looked even nicer than the photos. We were very happy and impressed with the rental and also Mill Pond Realty. From check in to check out, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. I'd both recommend them, and also use their services again, when booking/staying in their area!!

We rented 3 homes (Downtown Cottage, Pleasant Memories, & The Lodge) from Mill Pond for our wedding weekend and couldn’t be happier. The homes were beautiful with so much character and plenty of space for groups to gather. Throughout the booking process & our entire stay, the team at Mill Pond Realty was super responsive and helpful. We will definitely rent from them again in the future!

Pros: the location is great, the driveway is helpful to have, the layout of the house accommodates a larger group, the yard and fire pit are nice to have
Cons: the house needs a good cleaning, there are not enough basic supplies (3 rolls of toilet paper for 5 days for 8 people is not sufficient, ran out of garbage bags), the upstairs bathroom needs to be remodeled
The stairs and floors creak a lot— depending on your preference this can be old house charm or it can be annoying.

Very nice with plenty of room and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Had minor issue that Mill Pond Realty was very responsive in addressing and easy to work with. Enjoyed our stay!
