I really love this place. dr O is great as are the support staff. HOWEVER, even though the posted hours include Sundays 12-5 they were closed. VERY FRUSTRATED since I drove from out of town to pick up my glasses.
After calling, the Ypsilanti store picked up and said the person that was supposed to work today called off. Way to go millennials!

The lady and one bald guy are very helpful and care about the customer. The others don't care at all. There was confusion over my contacts. Took over 3 months to receive. Depending on who you got, you were either helped or told they don't know anything. I just picked them up today, and the other bald guy was rude and unhelpful. I asked if I was receiving everything I had already paid $300+ and waited over 3 months for, he said he didn't know, just take what's in the bag. Tried sending me away with no receipt or any proof. I had to open the bag and verify it all for myself. He didn't want to be bothered with any questions and didn't want to find any info out. Will not be coming back. This place used to be the best but the staff save for the 2 I mentioned are incompetent. My visit to pick up contacts was 3/26/23. Please have a talk with your employees about customer service

My recent visit as a new patient was great! The people working in the front were friendly and knowledgeable. I saw dr. David and he was wonderful as well. He explained everything as he was doing it, asked me lots of new patient questions, and talked me through the process of decided my prescription. Great experience!

Both the dr and receptionist guy swore I couldn't possibly have a ZERO co pay for my eyeglasses; even went so far as to tell me I was confusing this with my previous health insurance. I called Humana and was totally correct. Still Timo wouldn't apologize for the humiliation and aggravation of their treatment of me.

If it wasn’t for this Vision Center I would be blind. I went in because I was having horrible eye pain and my eyes were blood shot all the time. I thought it was allergies! Apparently I had high blood pressure in my eyes and my optic nerve was swollen so bad the doctor said had I not come in I’d of went blind. The doctor told me to wait a few minutes and he was going to call a friend for a favor and got me right in an hour later to an eye specialist who treated me for over a year to fix my eyes. I owe this place my sight, and my life! Thank you to all of you!

The optometrist was the best eye doctor I have ever seen by far for my daughters, ages 5 and 7. Most places would not accept my 5 year old because they do not see patients until they are 6 but this doctor did. Not only was he great but he found problems with my daughters eyes that required a neurologist and I could not get through to the Univetsity of Michigan and he got through and had her an appointment with in 15 minutes of me calling and explaining I could not get through. Amazing staff and amazing eye doctor. Where ever this optometrist moves in the future I will be following him to ensure he can always be my daughters eye doctor. I'd give 10 stars if I could! Thank you!

The doctor is amazing. My 6 year old had an appointment and my son loved him. The girls in front are super friendly and knowledgeable. Just all around amazing experience. Will definitely be back. The prices are great too.

The 2 women working were very friendly and helpful! Dr. VanOtteren was the best eye doctor that I've seen! He took time to explain everything to me, which no one had ever done in the past! He also told me prices as we went along. Everything was quick and painless! Pamela was very patient while I picked out my eyeglasses and explained the prices of the lens types and frame pricing. Overall a great and stress free appointment! A+ service! I will definitely come back and tell all of my friends how amazing this business is!
