Very nice employees. They did not have what I needed in the timeframe I needed, however they gave me very fair prices and did their best to accommodate my timeline. I would happily go back for future work.

Ryan installed a Blue Ox system on our Jeep Wrangler and class C motor home. He stayed after closing time to make sure I knew how to operate the tow bar and the brake system.

Very satisfied with attitude and capabilities of the gentleman we met. After trying to work with so many different companies in the area who said what we wanted could not be done. He did it!!!

The technician on duty helped me diagnose and fix non functioning running lights on a new trailer caused by a burned out fuse I hadn't located on a 2020 Ford Explorer. Provided same day service and replaced the burned out microfuse at no charge. Unheard of in todays culture.

Steve assisted me in pricing on removing the roller on my Curt A16 that I really do not need (installed by RV dealer). Rather than me purchasing the legs from etrailer and asking InstaHitch to install, Steve receives a dealer discount from etrailer and the overall price for parts and install was very agreeable. Ryan was my installer; he took very good care of my truck and has a great sense of humor. I will return to InstaHitch for future upgrades/changes. Thanks guys!

I required a trailer hitch to move some personal belongings of my aunt, following the sudden passing of my mother. Instahitch, located in Saline, was able to accommodate my tight timeline. I arrived as scheduled. The atmosphere of the shop was exceptionally casual. The work was performed and payment made. I departed the location. The receipt was provided via email. My mind was preoccupied with preparing my mother's funeral. It wasn't until I received the email receipt that I realized no additional paperwork (warranty or installation) was attached to the email or left in the vehicle. I emailed the shop twice, requesting warranty paperwork. There was no response. I called. The representative laughed when I requested he email me the warranty paperwork. He stated, "There's no warranty. If anything goes wrong, just bring it back. I'll be here." When pressed he stated, "We (Instahitch) don't have a warranty. Curt (hitch manufacturer) might, but I haven't seen one since I first started here. So, there's no warranty paperwork. It's in my head!" The representative was brash and made it clear he could care less about the issue presented. Any business that will not provide documentation on their labor warranty or that of the product they use, should be avoided. It is for this reason I would urge readers to avoid the Saline location. As for InstaHitch, consider reevaluating having your name attached to the Saline, Michigan location.

While they were able to put the hitch and bike rack on my car I was not happy that they were not wearing masks while interacting with me in a small office space. When I asked why they weren't wearing a mask in an office with customers the person behind the desk said, "It isn't a law." If you are like me and prefer to have customer service people wearing masks, I would avoid this business.

Brought my own hitch (purchased from etrailer.com) to InstaHitch Ann Arbor to be installed. Was ecstatic when they agreed to do the work immediately while I waited. I agreed to a $300 installation charge (!). All appeared to be in order until I inspected the car more carefully upon arriving home. Should have done the inspection on-site. Both rear wheel opening mouldings were improperly installed. Tail lamp trim improperly installed on left side; it actually fell off. Rear fascia improperly installed ... makes contact with liftgate. I corrected all of the above items myself; thankfully, nothing was actually broken, just shoddy work with terrible attention to detail. So much for saving a chunk of my time by taking the car to InstaHitch Ann Arbor. Should have just taken it to the dealer's body shop and left it for the hitch to be installed.
