They shouldn't put useless broken items out on the sales floor. My 91 year old mother bought a Mr. Clean self wringing sponge mop this afternoon(3/18/24) that included 2 replacement sponges. She assumed it was a functional mop in good working order. It appeared unused. But when we got it home and we're examining it to assemble the sponge onto the handle we discovered that one of the squeeze bars was missing and the bracket that was designed to hold that squeeze bar in place was broken on one side. I rushed back to get there 15 minutes before closing time and approached the cashier who rung my mother's sale up. He stated that the Goodwill's policy is no returns on anything but clothing and that the tags must be still on the merchandise. No cash back, no store credit,....nothing!!! I've been to several Goodwills in the tri-county area and have had cashiers point out to me a flaw or damaged merchandise that I had intended to purchase prior to completing the purchase. This Goodwill has,I quote... "...a strict policy on returns and there are no refunds on any items but clothing..." My advice is BUYER BEWARE when purchasing items from this Goodwill in Saline, Michigan. They sell you damaged goods and refuse to make good, in any form, a defective item that should have not even gotten out on the floor for anyone to purchase.

I love this Goodwill! Super reasonably priced compared to all the other thrift stores around. The store is clean and organized and the employees are always friendly! I have found so many great things here! We got a TV console and a coffee table for only $6 each! And I love browsing to see what new items they have each week, I always find at least one thing for only $1 that I just can't resist. I love their selection of books, purses, and toys. This Goodwill store is honestly my favorite place to shop!

I always prefer this Goodwill over the other because prices were better. However, recently it’s getting hard to find affordable options. Prices continue to go up and quality of items keep going down. Staff has always been friendly.

This store was great, NOT anymore. They have raised prices through the roof for used stuff that’s DONATED. I’m not paying $10 for a used sweatshirt, or $8 for a pair of used leggings. Some of these items are 40-60 dollars EACH for pottery, and I’ve noticed most items are priced for what you can buy them NEW in the store.AVOID the old grey haired lady at the register, she’s rude, constantly declines to sell you stuff and watches my children like they’re thieves. We’ve decided going to NU2U is better because they don’t treat us like lying convicts. We stopped a couple times a week for three months. Nothing has gotten better, people trample you to get the new carts that come out to the floor. They only bring out a new cart what seems like once every few hours. Over all just a huge waste of time.-5 stars

Wouldn't sell me an item that didn't have a price on it. I asked for a manager to price it and was told no. The cashier said other people usually take a tag off another item. I was trying to be honest but thanks for the tip. Jtlyk.

Their shelves were not organized with glassware was mixed with games, prices seemed a bit high for a Goodwill. ($5.00 for a used pair of non name brand flip flops). There was also a lot of broken pieces laying on shelves.Clothing aisles were nicely color coded as well as shoes arranged by size.We were wished a nice day as we left, which was a nice gesture.

The prices have changed. They have upped their prices too high. I asked the manager could they lower the price, and she said that she cannot do it. The item was half broken and I would have to use elbow grease to make it work. The manager apologized for not being able to change the price, although she very well could have. I will not be going back there.

This used to be my favorite Goodwill, unfortunately not any longer.Their pricing on items has changed drastically. For example:Crib soother toy that retails for $40 was priced at $20 with a missing battery cover and missing straps to attach to crib. Another item I saw, was a wooden doll stroller again outrageously priced. The resellers really go rogue in this location too leaving little to no brand name clothing.

Prices are high for what they have. Which is mostly junk, and yet so many people donate beautiful items, which you never se to see on the sales floor? They don't honor their own exchange policy for merchandise. Their receipt is printed that you can exchange clothing within 7 days , they wouldn't honor that for a clothing I wanted to exchange. The cashiers are always so unfriendly.

Friendly staff, clean store. Why can't you ever find the color of the week? I was told by employee that they start to take them off the floor on Mondays and she was right. We were in the store on a Monday at 11:15a and saw 3 racks of clothes going to the back. All color of the week. Why bother to have one?

I picked up a small basket with a $2.00 price tag on it. When I got to cash register the cashier Marissa P. took the basket as she said "Oh this does not have one of our price tags on it. I can't sell it to you." That is terrible customer service. A 2 dollar basket is nothing to loose ac customed over. Somebody could have priced the basket and I could have had my purchase. Training needed.

I will preface this by saying I really love this store. It's pretty much the only Goodwill left in southeast Michigan that that I shop at. So I was kind of disappointed to find out that a fairly average vintage Coach bag was being sold for $120. I was told they had checked online and found bag selling for $700.?!? I am a true collector, and vintage coach can be special, but this bag isn't particularly highly sought. Please when pricing, check your eBay actual "SOLDs" (which at last check averaged between $25 and $70. Rarely over $150. And these are from sellers who actually probably bought the bag at some point and now need to get their money back versus a free donation to Goodwill.) I will continue to shop here of course but I just hope this store won't get into that nasty habit of being an eBay store thrift shop. It was the reason I kept coming back here versus others.

When they first move this goodwill from the other side of the shopping center, it was great. Even last summer there were some very sweet kiddos working there. I went there today and it was enough to say I won’t be back. The in door was locked . Well after nine. I was still locked when I left. I went in. There was a lot of Rama we’d stuff. There were some broken rain boots that I bought because they said 60 on the bottom and .60 cents is a fine price for puddle jumpers even with a broken top.they rang up at $6 . I told the girl I wanted to return the boots and the three other items I’d been over charged for. I actually started getting frustrated because she was so incredibly rude. She said I couldn’t return shoes…. Even though I had literally just walked out. The. She showed me another pair of shoes to show there are two tag so it…. Only there was NO other tag on the boots. Nothing. So I was like…. So you’re saying $6 for broken boots? She said yup….I cannot some e how far this place as fallen. They were selling dirty mason jars with no lids for $1 each…. The retail price for a new one with a lid, and they were charging more than retail for dollar tree stuff. I saw bins they’d marked at !7 each that still had target retail $3 labels on them and they were VDRGused. I was overcharged in total $14. The rain boots additionally ended up being quite stinky which I noticed driving home. They were selling gloves and shorts with huge holes in them…. I saw a very stained North face sweatshirt they were trying to get $8 for…. It’s just a gross place now with rude people working there ….. just an awful experience.

This Goodwill location is clean and lots of good items but it is often bare. I try to donate here as much as I can and when I've found items, they are in great condition and affordable unlike Salvation Army.

Very nice store. Good selection and friendly workers, too. Stop in for tremendous bargains.
